The Challenge

Toggee is building the first Family Operating System—blending behavioral design, gamification, and coordination for modern families. You'll architect growth from zero, designing parent-child referral loops and category-defining positioning for a founder-led team with billion-dollar pedigree.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map current user behavior and define core retention/referral loops; identify which product moments unlock family-to-family propagation

2

Establish Toggee's narrative positioning and messaging framework; test messaging with target parents to validate emotional hooks

3

Audit and design go-to-market mechanisms that work pre-paid acquisition (product virality, social proof, strategic partnerships)

4

Build lean marketing team structure and integration playbook with Product, Design, and Data; define your first 3 hires

By 6 Months
1

Launch product-embedded referral system with measurable parent-child loop conversion metrics; achieve 15%+ viral coefficient

2

Execute category launch campaign establishing Toggee as the Family Operating System; measure brand lift and parent-to-parent recommendation rate

3

Establish repeatable growth playbook scaling from current traction to 3-5x user growth through non-paid channels

4

Build growth frameworks and dashboards translating complex dynamics into clear mental models for leadership; present quarterly growth architecture review

KPIs You'll Own

Parent-to-Parent Referral Rate

Percentage of new parents acquired through existing family referrals; primary viral loop indicator

Family-to-Family Propagation Velocity

Time from household signup to secondary household signup through direct referral; measures contagion strength

Retention Before Acquisition Cost

Organic retention and engagement metrics baseline before paid marketing; foundational health metric

Narrative Resonance Score

Parent recall and usage of Toggee messaging in organic conversations; tracks positioning effectiveness

Product-Embedded Virality Coefficient

Viral loops generated within product experience per active user; measures growth built into UX

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've scaled a family-oriented consumer product, EdTech platform, or behavioral/habit-forming system from traction (1M) to significant growth (10M+)
  • You think systems-first: you design growth into product, not bolted onto campaigns; you partner with PMs, not after them
  • You're genuinely interested in child development, family dynamics, and responsibility-building—not just user acquisition
  • You thrive in ambiguity with strong intuition; you're opinionated yet intellectually honest and willing to kill ideas early
  • You're based in or willing to relocate to Bay Area or Las Vegas for on-site/hybrid work; you value real-time collaboration over async
Won't Work If
  • Your background is performance marketing or media-buy-centric; this is not a Facebook ads role
  • You need remote flexibility; on-site/hybrid Bay Area or Vegas is non-negotiable
  • You haven't operated in consumer products with high-frequency engagement or habit loops; B2B or enterprise experience won't translate
  • You're uncomfortable saying 'no' or challenging founders; this demands confident, intellectually honest systems thinking
