The Challenge
You'll own the customer and trade marketing engine for a major commercial operation in Peru. This is the strategic connector role between Sales and Marketing—drive profitable growth by executing flawless activations, managing trade budgets, and turning shopper insights into real POS results.
Your Mission
Map current customer marketing landscape: audit existing strategies, MDF/coop spend allocation, and budget compliance across key accounts
Develop Annual Customer Marketing Plan aligned with Sales priorities and secure stakeholder sign-off from Marketing, Sales, and Finance
Launch first customer-specific activation (promotion, visibility, or shopper campaign) with measurable baseline metrics for ROI tracking
Build working relationship with Key Account Managers and establish cadence for Joint Business Plan integration
Execute minimum 3 major customer campaigns with documented sell-in, sell-out, and promotional ROI vs. plan targets
Optimize trade marketing budget allocation based on Nielsen/GfK data analysis, improving efficiency by 10%+ vs. prior year
Lead new product launch across priority retail customers ensuring 95%+ availability and visibility compliance at POS
Establish standardized reporting dashboard tracking KPIs: market share lift, category growth, visibility rates, and shopper behavior trends

Track monthly spend vs. plan with compliance documentation and ROI evaluation per customer

Is This Role For You?
- You've lived trade marketing: 2-4 years executing customer marketing, category management, or key account strategies in retail or FMCG
- You're fluent in data—Nielsen, GfK, retail analytics—and can translate shopper insights into promotional and assortment strategies
- You thrive as the connector role: bilingual (English + Spanish), comfortable negotiating between Sales ambition and Marketing strategy
- You own execution: budget planning, ROI analysis, POS compliance, and you actually track what works vs. what doesn't
- You're happy based in Lima with travel appetite to customer sites and field teams
- You've never managed trade marketing budgets, MDF/coop funds, or measured promotional ROI—this role is execution-heavy, not strategic ideation
- You need remote flexibility: this is on-site in Lima with travel, no negotiation
- Your Spanish is weak: you'll be coordinating with local agencies, field teams, and retailers who expect fluent communication
