The Challenge
Amazon Leo is building a global satellite internet constellation. You'll own Mexico's subscriber acquisition and P&L from zero, launching a consumer internet business at scale in a complex market with real expansion pressure.
Your Mission
Map Mexico demand gen landscape: competitor pricing, channel performance, customer acquisition costs across sales channels
Define initial pricing and promotion strategy informed by local market research, supply constraints, and subscriber economics
Establish baseline KPI tracking infrastructure and weekly reporting cadence with Finance, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders
Secure buy-in on 90-day gross adds targets and resource allocation across marketing, sales, and channel partnerships
Launch and optimize demand generation campaigns across all planned sales channels, hitting monthly gross adds and revenue targets
Deliver data-backed pricing strategy that balances customer adoption, churn economics, and enterprise value creation
Build repeatable playbooks for promotional events (Prime Day equivalent) and channel-specific subscriber acquisition workflows
Present comprehensive 6-month business review with variance analysis, corrective actions taken, and 18-month growth roadmap

Company Intelligence
Amazon Leo is a satellite internet constellation initiative delivering low-latency, high-speed broadband globally. The North America Consumer team is launching satellite internet subscriptions as a consumer product, starting with Mexico as a key growth market. You're building a subscription business from the ground up in a space where connectivity directly impacts customer outcomes.
Customers
Consumer and enterprise customers in Mexico seeking affordable, reliable broadband
Culture
Entrepreneurial, data-driven, customer-obsessed; thrives on ambiguity and execution at scale
Is This Role For You?
- You've scaled subscriber acquisition or demand gen in a subscription business (SaaS, streaming, telecom) and own the full P&L cycle
- You're analytically rigorous: you build financial models, test pricing hypotheses, and optimize based on data—not gut
- You understand Mexico's telecom market, consumer behavior, and channel landscape (or you learn fast and hustle to close knowledge gaps)
- You thrive in matrixed, fast-moving environments where you influence without authority and communicate across silos daily
- You're entrepreneurial and self-directed; you see ambiguity as opportunity and move with urgency without needing hand-holding
- You're uncomfortable with on-site work or can't commit to Mexico City presence for 3+ years—this role demands in-market relationships
- You need precedent and process; Leo is a new business initiative with limited playbooks; you'll be writing them
- You've only worked in mature, stable subscription businesses; early-stage P&L pressure, supply constraints, and market validation will stress you
