What you'll do
This job is the person who makes audience insight useful across the company. If you like building systems people actually use, this one has real substance.
What the role really is
You’ll own how Xometry understands its audiences and how that understanding shapes the brand. That means keeping personas grounded in real behavior, tracking brand health, and teaching teams to put the insights to work.
What you'll do (bullets)
- Keep audience segments and personas current as the marketplace shifts.
- Combine research, data, and other signals to understand what moves each audience.
- Turn audience insight into messaging inputs and practical tools for other teams.
- Teach teams how to use personas through documentation, hands-on support, and enablement.
- Track brand health and NPS trends, then make clear recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Watch trends over time and flag emerging risks or opportunities.
- Maintain brand guidelines, Confluence documentation, and governance processes.
- Build Claude skills and other tools that help teams use brand and audience knowledge on their own.
- Set quality standards for updating, using, and retiring brand and persona assets.
What they want (bullets)
- 8+ years in brand strategy, audience insights, or market research, ideally in B2B, a marketplace, or a two-sided platform.
- Experience building segmentation and personas from research through organization-wide adoption.
- Comfort with qualitative and quantitative research, and the ability to turn findings into useful recommendations.
- Experience running brand governance, documentation platforms, and approval workflows.
- Campaign measurement and post-mortem experience, with comfort in marketing analytics tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, plus interest in building internal tools.
- A teaching instinct. Success means teams use personas well, not just that the personas exist.
Why it's interesting
This role owns both the insight and the system that gets it used. You’ll shape how teams understand audiences, keep a live read on the brand, and build tools that reduce the need to ask your team for every decision.
Salary
$132,000 to $150,000 USD base salary annually, plus bonus.
Location
