By 6 Months
1

Grow Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube followers by 30%+ with documented engagement rate improvements across all platforms

2

Launch and scale 2-3 new content formats (interactive stories, short-form video series, community-driven campaigns) with proven engagement metrics

3

Build a data dashboard tracking weekly performance, audience insights, and conversion metrics; present monthly insights to leadership

4

Establish branded content and sponsorship activation strategy, coordinating 4+ campaigns with commercial and marketing teams

Company Intelligence

Sporty Group operates SportyNet, a Brazilian sports and entertainment media channel with significant digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. The company focuses on sports coverage, entertainment, and real-time engagement with a young, digitally-native audience.

Culture

Fast-paced, collaborative, innovation-driven; emphasis on real-time storytelling and audience-first approach

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've led social media strategy and teams (3+ years) in sports, media, or entertainment—you speak platform algorithms as a second language
  • Real-time content creation energizes you; you thrive during live events when speed and strategy intersect
  • You're data-obsessed: you translate analytics into decisions, not just reports, and can tie engagement metrics to business outcomes
  • You're a storyteller first, marketer second; you understand how to build fan loyalty and community, not just chase vanity metrics
  • You speak Portuguese or are willing to relocate to São Paulo and embed in Brazilian sports/media culture
Won't Work If
  • You need remote work or flexibility; this is on-site, on-the-ground leadership in São Paulo
  • You're uncomfortable with real-time decision-making under pressure; live sports coverage demands quick pivots and rapid execution
  • You view social media as a broadcast channel only; this role requires deep community engagement, moderation, and relationship-building

Interview Process

1

Initial Screening

Phone call to assess background in social media leadership, sports/media experience, and relocation/on-site availability

2

Strategy Exercise

Present a 30-day social media strategy for a fictional or real sports brand; focus on platform selection, content pillars, and KPIs

3

Leadership & Culture Fit

In-person or video interview with hiring manager/CMO to assess team management style, cross-functional collaboration, and innovation mindset

4

Case Study Discussion

Walk through a past campaign you led; discuss metrics, challenges, learnings, and how you'd apply lessons to SportyNet
