Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've shipped 50+ short-form videos and understand each platform's algorithm and native formats
  • You can write tight, engaging editorial copy and fact-check under deadline pressure
  • You're comfortable holding a camera, managing audio, and operating gimbals—not just editing footage
  • You thrive coordinating across producteurs, designers, and technical teams without becoming a bottleneck
  • Documentary and investigative journalism excites you more than lifestyle or entertainment content
Won't Work If
  • You need remote flexibility—this is 100% on-site Paris, no negotiation
  • You're editing-only and uncomfortable with field production, interviews, and camera work
  • You can't handle rapid iteration and don't enjoy A/B testing content performance metrics
  • Corporate audiovisual or marketing video work is your actual interest (not editorial/news/docs)
