The Challenge
Kavak is a high-growth automotive marketplace disrupting how people buy and sell cars across Latin America. You'll own their social presence from the ground up, building community and driving engagement that directly fuels marketplace activity.
Your Mission
Audit current social channels and establish baseline metrics across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Develop and execute 90-day content calendar aligned with Kavak's brand voice and marketplace rhythm
Grow follower base by 25% across primary channels and hit engagement rate targets (3-5% on organic)
Map audience segments (buyers, sellers, tire-kickers) and test messaging that converts to platform activity
Scale social following to 150K+ across core channels with consistent 4-6% engagement rate
Launch at least 2 user-generated content campaigns that drive seller/buyer submissions
Build social-to-marketplace attribution model showing direct revenue impact from social traffic
Establish social listening protocol and competitive benchmarking process; brief leadership monthly

Is This Role For You?
- You've run social for at least one consumer marketplace, e-commerce, or B2C company and can tie posts to traffic/conversion
- You're obsessed with metrics—engagement rate, CTR, CAC, and LTV all make sense to you
- You're fluent in Spanish and understand Mexican/LATAM market dynamics; bonus if you've worked in Mexico
- You love scrappy, fast iteration; you're comfortable testing 5 content angles per week and killing what doesn't work
- You think social is just about likes and follower vanity metrics; you need revenue attribution or you're unhappy
- You're looking for a remote role or flex setup—this is on-site in Mexico City
- You've only managed brand/awareness social for B2B or corporate; marketplace and conversion social is different
