Role Summary and Impact
We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead and implement our search engine optimization strategies, helping to drive organic growth and increased visibility for our media platforms. As an SEO Manager, you will work closely with editorial, marketing, and product teams to optimize content, improve search rankings, and enhance the overall digital presence of our media brand. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, content strategy, and analytics tools, with experience in the fast-paced and dynamic media industry.
· Understand the client’s products, competition, industry landscape, marketing goals and objectives.
· Review and analyze competitor sites and understand their organic search approach.
· Define a campaign strategy and deliverables plan that meet or exceed client expectations including Keyword strategies for optimal on-site performance, Detailed site analysis & technical recommendations, Detailed content recommendations, and Comprehensive linking strategy.
· Work closely with other internal departments to develop fully integrated search campaigns.
· Attend client and agency meetings to present deliverables, campaign strategies, and tactics.
· Always maintain positive client relationships.
· Monitor, track and evaluate campaign performance analytics, based on client critical metrics.
· Review rankings and linking data against internal measurements for success.
· Review monthly client reports, verify accuracy and provide analysis.
· Optimize campaigns accordingly to maximize client investment and to resolve performance issues.
· Support Search Director in data acquisition or campaign insights for quarterly or annual business reviews.
· Present practical ideas for future marketing expansion or optimization.

· You should think creatively and develop creative tactics to improve efficiency and drive more traffic to client assets.

· You're an ace at new business. You will periodically aid in creating new business presentations.
· Create, or assist in creating, POVs, standard and consistent approaches and key process documentation.
Skills and Experience

· 4-5 years of organic search engine marketing/search engine optimization/SEO campaign management experience required.
· Previous experience in an agency environment highly desired.
· Strong background in data analytics and strategy. You must be comfortable manipulating very large datasets.
· Basic knowledge of HTML, Google Analytics and Search Console is expected.
· Experience in managing Google My Business and app optimization projects
· Desire to manage and mentor junior members of a team; prior experience as a manager a plus.
