About the position
We are seeking an AI Product Marketing Manager focused on Developer AI capabilities in SAP Build to lead the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for SAPâs next-generation AI capabilities for developers. In this highly cross-functional role, you will define the value proposition of developer-focused AI features, influence product strategy with market intelligence, and drive global awareness and adoption of SAP Buildâs AI offerings. You will work closely with product, engineering, ecosystem, and field teams to articulate how SAPâs AI-powered development experiences - including vibe coding, AI-assisted app creation, and generative automation - deliver business impact and developer productivity at scale. Your work will help ensure SAP remains a leader in enterprise AI innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead product marketing for Joule for Developers, including vibe coding, AI-assisted development tools, and other AI capabilities in SAP Build.Partner with SAP Build and ABAP Engineering teams to inform roadmap decisions and ensure product innovation aligns with market needs and customer value.Conduct market and customer research to identify emerging AI opportunities, validate use cases, and shape positioning and messaging frameworks.Analyze adoption trends, customer feedback, and sales insights to refine GTM strategies and support revenue growth.Develop compelling value propositions and narratives that differentiate SAP in the developer AI landscape.Collaborate with SAPâs partner ecosystem to broaden the reach of AI capabilities and support adoption across ISVs, SIs, and developer communities.Support analyst relations with clear product briefings, competitive insights, and market messaging.Review marketing assetsâincluding technical content, demos, solution briefs, and thought-leadership materialsâto ensure accuracy and consistency.Deliver presentations for field enablement, partner programs, and customer-facing events.Serve as a key stakeholder in pricing, packaging, and commercialization decisions for AI capabilities within SAP BTP.Requirements
Bachelor's or Masterâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of relevant professional experience2+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, developer advocacy, or related roles (experience with AI or developer tools preferred)Strong understanding of AI market trends, developer tooling, AppDev platforms, and SAPâs application and AI strategy.Experience supporting B2B sales cycles, engaging with technical audiences, and developing customer-facing demos or assets.Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn quickly, and acquire deep expertise in emerging technologies.Strong commitment to quality and customer-centric thinking.Nice-to-haves
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and translate it into actionable insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive-level audiences.Experience identifying customer needs, shaping product requirements, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.Proven ability to collaborate effectively in international, matrixed environments.Willingness to travel globally as required.Benefits
