The Challenge

Stride-up is a high-growth SEO/GEO agency scaling fast. You'll lead a team driving organic visibility and conversion for ambitious clients while embedding AI and geo-targeting into your team's DNA.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Assess and baseline your team's SEO/GEO technical maturity; identify skill gaps and create individual development plans

2

Implement standardized audit and roadmap workflows; establish weekly performance review cadence with clear KPIs

3

Launch initial AI integration pilot (content generation, reporting automation) to free up team capacity

4

Build trust with your team and key stakeholders; deliver first client performance insights with measurable wins

By 6 Months
1

Scale team competency: 100% of direct reports demonstrate mastery of technical SEO, semantic strategy, and link-building fundamentals

Automate 60% of reporting and performance tracking via Data Studio and SEO APIs; reduce manual reporting time by half

3

Own and deliver organic visibility gains for 3-5 flagship accounts; track and communicate monthly ranking and traffic progress

4

Establish team processes for large-scale content strategy via AI; document playbooks and train junior consultants on execution

Monthly assessment of team competency across technical SEO, semantic strategy, and link-building using internal rubrics.

Client Organic Visibility Growth

Average month-over-month improvement in rankings (positions 1-3, 4-10, 11-20) and organic traffic for portfolio accounts.

Reporting Automation Rate

Percentage of monthly reporting automated via Data Studio, APIs, and AI tools; target: 60%+ by month 6.

Team Engagement & Retention

Quarterly feedback score and retention rate; track individual satisfaction and career growth perception.

Audit Delivery On-Time Rate

Percentage of SEO audits and operational roadmaps delivered on schedule and meeting quality standards.

  • You have 3-6+ years in-agency SEO experience with deep mastery of technical, semantic, and link-building pillars
  • You genuinely enjoy mentoring; you get as much fulfillment from team growth as client wins
  • You're data-driven and comfortable with automation (Data Studio, APIs, AI tools) to scale reporting and workflows
  • You're convinced AI and geo-targeting are the future of search and want to lead your team in adopting them
Won't Work If
  • You prefer pure execution over people management; this is a leadership role requiring daily coaching and mentorship
  • You're not fluent in SEO fundamentals (technical, semantic, netlinking) or haven't managed complex, multi-client SEO strategies at scale
  • You're uncomfortable with rapid change or skeptical of AI as a productivity multiplier; this role demands embracing new tools
  • You lack communication skills to reassure ambitious clients or inspire diverse team members; soft skills are non-negotiable
