The Challenge
Red Bull owns the intersection of extreme sports and lifestyle. You'll build regional athlete rosters into national assets, turning individual talent into brand multipliers that drive consumer growth and category expansion.
Your Mission
Audit current athlete roster in region; identify 3-5 high-potential talent gaps aligned with national strategy
Develop performance contracts and marketing plans for 5+ managed athletes with clear KPIs (content pieces, social reach, event activations)
Map regional sports ecosystem-gyms, events, communities-and establish Red Bull presence through athlete partnerships
Execute one regional athlete campaign (content, product placement, or experiential) that drives measurable brand awareness lift
Scale athlete roster to 10-15 managed athletes with documented performance data and ROI per athlete
Generate 25+ branded athlete content assets (social, video, editorial) distributed across Red Bull channels
Negotiate and close 3-5 new athlete sponsorship agreements with transparent performance benchmarks
Demonstrate athlete-driven regional revenue impact: product sales lift, event attendance, or subscriber growth tied to athlete activation

Athlete performance goal achievement
Percentage of managed athletes hitting agreed-upon performance targets (wins, placements, engagement metrics) per evaluation cycle.

Measured lift in brand awareness or consideration within your region correlated to athlete activations and campaigns.
Roster turnover and retention
Year-over-year retention rate of managed athletes and time-to-productivity for new athlete signings.
Contract negotiation velocity
Average days from athlete identification to signed agreement; target cost per athlete acquisition.
Athlete audience reach
Combined social media following and engagement rate of your managed athlete roster month-over-month.

- You thrive in matrix organizations where you collaborate across teams (marketing, comms, media, events) to execute ambitious campaigns
- You expect a 9-to-5 desk job; this role requires regional travel and presence at athlete training, competitions, and community events
- You're uncomfortable with contract negotiation, legal terms, and performance management conversations
