The Challenge

Rappi is Latin America's leading super-app connecting millions of users to food, groceries, and services. You'll own growth initiatives across one of the region's fastest-scaling marketplaces, driving user acquisition, retention, and marketplace expansion in a hypercompetitive landscape.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map current growth funnel, identify top 3 bottlenecks, and propose data-backed optimization roadmap

2

Launch 2 acquisition experiments (paid, organic, or viral) targeting underserved user cohorts

3

Establish baseline metrics for CAC, LTV, and retention by user segment and channel

4

Build relationships with product, data, and supply-side teams to align on Q2 growth priorities

By 6 Months
1

Scale winning acquisition channels by 30-50% while maintaining or improving unit economics

Implement cohort-based retention program reducing churn by 15%+ in target segments

3

Launch marketplace expansion initiative into new cities or service categories, hitting initial growth targets

4

Develop and own one strategic partnership (brand, platform, or ecosystem) driving meaningful incremental growth

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Track blended CAC across channels and optimize toward LTV:CAC ratio of 3:1 or better.

Monthly Active Users (MAU) Growth Rate

Month-over-month growth % across core user segments and geographies.

30-Day Retention Rate

% of new users returning 30 days post-signup, benchmarked by cohort and acquisition channel.

Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) per User

Average order value and repeat purchase frequency, tracked by user segment.

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity—the brief is light on specifics, so you thrive in scrappy, founder-mode environments
  • You think in unit economics and can model CAC, LTV, and payback periods without a CFO holding your hand
  • You want to impact millions of users in a massive, underpenetrated market (LatAm e-commerce)

  • You need detailed strategic briefs and step-by-step direction; this role requires self-direction and hypothesis-driven work
  • You're primarily a demand gen specialist—this needs full-funnel thinking from awareness through retention
  • You don't speak Spanish and have no interest in learning; LatAm marketplace context is critical
