The Challenge
Nébuleuse is a high-growth French jewelry brand (founded 2019) building the future of ear jewelry and piercing. You'll own the full acquisition playbook—budget arbitrage, paid channels, and ROI optimization—reporting directly to founders while scaling from a lean team in central Paris.
Your Mission
Audit all current acquisition channels (paid, organic, affiliate) and establish baseline CAC and ROAS benchmarks across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other active channels
Build and implement a cohesive attribution model to measure true channel performance and eliminate budget leakage across acquisition mix
Negotiate and consolidate agency + platform contracts, identifying 15-20% cost optimization opportunities without sacrificing performance
Define and implement weekly performance dashboard tracking CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, and AOV by channel
Grow qualified traffic by 25-35% while maintaining or improving CAC through systematic channel testing and reallocation
Establish a repeatable 'test and learn' cadence: launch 2-3 optimized campaigns monthly, measure 4-week performance, scale winners
Build internal capabilities for high-ROI channels (likely SEM + TikTok Ads), reducing agency dependency by 30-40%
Deliver quarterly strategic reviews to founders with competitive benchmarking, cohort analysis, and 90-day optimization roadmap
KPIs You'll Own
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Total acquisition spend divided by new customers, tracked by channel and campaign to ensure profitability.
Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
Revenue generated per dollar spent on paid channels; your primary lever for budget arbitrage and platform optimization.
Conversion Rate (CVR)
Percentage of visitors who complete a purchase; optimize through landing page testing and audience refinement.
Cost Per Lead (CPL) & Cost Per Click (CPC)
Measure efficiency of top-of-funnel channels (Google Ads, display, affiliation) to identify high-intent segments.
Lifetime Value (LTV) by Cohort
Track repeat purchase rate and AOV by acquisition channel to calculate true profitability and payback period.
Attribution Multi-Touch
Model contribution of each channel to final conversion; essential for fair budget allocation across touchpoints.
