The Challenge

MissionHires is scaling remittance corridors from US/EU into Latin America—you'll own the end-to-end P&L for diaspora-focused go-to-market. This is ground-level community growth: partnerships, offline activation, ambassadors, and conversion optimization in one of fintech's highest-impact segments.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map and validate 3-5 partnership opportunities with diaspora community organizations; close at least 1 partnership agreement

Launch first cohort of 5-10 community ambassadors; establish weekly activation rhythm and performance benchmarks

3

Design and execute 2 offline + 2 online campaigns targeting high-value corridors; achieve initial CAC and conversion baselines

4

Conduct 20+ customer research interviews with transfer senders; synthesize insights into go-to-market refinements

By 6 Months
1

Deliver $X revenue and Y% profitability on assigned corridor(s); demonstrate PMF with at least 2 validated customer segments

Scale ambassador network to 15-20 active influencers; achieve 30%+ month-over-month growth in grassroots referrals

Optimize full-funnel CAC to <$Z; improve conversion rate by 25%+ through CRM and lifecycle campaigns

Establish repeatable playbook for corridor expansion; document processes for Product/Ops handoff to next market

Total transaction volume, GMV, and net margin for assigned US/EU→LATAM corridors against monthly and quarterly targets.

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Blended cost across partnerships, paid media, events, and ambassadors; target optimization for payback within X months.

Conversion Rate & Success Rate

Percentage of app signups → first transfer completion; latency from signup to first transaction; goal is XX% within 7 days.

Ambassador & Partnership ROI

Revenue generated per active ambassador and per partnership; retention and repeat referral rates.

Community Engagement & NPS

Event attendance, CRM activation rate, and Net Promoter Score among diaspora cohorts; proxy for brand trust and viral potential.

  • You have 8+ years in high-growth environments (startups, scaleups, or scaled marketing teams) and own P&L for revenue-generating initiatives
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish, ideally with deep networks in Latin American diaspora communities or on-the-ground activation experience
  • You combine strong business development and partnership skills with hands-on performance marketing (paid media, events, influencer/ambassador management)
  • You are analytics-obsessed, metrics-focused, and excited by ownership: idea → execution → measurement → iteration
  • You are mission-driven toward financial inclusion, immigrant communities, or emerging-market fintech
Won't Work If
  • You lack fluency in English and Spanish or have no track record in LATAM partnerships, community engagement, or diaspora marketing
  • You prefer remote-first work or cannot relocate to Bogotá (or willing hubs: NYC, Mexico City, São Paulo)
  • You are uncomfortable with scrappy startup operations, nights/weekends for events, or the ambiguity of ground-level community activation
