The Challenge
Malsishop is scaling FOUTA 619, a new artisanal product brand across Europe. You'll own SEO/SEM strategy from day one, working directly with the marketing lead to drive organic and paid visibility for a fast-growing startup.
Your Mission
Audit current SEO performance and implement on-page optimization for top 50 product pages using Yoast/Semrush
Launch initial SEO content calendar with 8-12 target articles addressing customer search intent
Set up Google Ads and Bing campaigns with baseline KPIs and weekly performance tracking
Establish keyword research framework and competitive analysis for FOUTA 619 category
Achieve 30% increase in organic search traffic through content and technical SEO improvements
Manage €5K-10K monthly SEM budget with target 3:1 ROAS on paid campaigns
Build internal SEO documentation and train team on best practices for product updates
Deliver monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations for marketing leadership

Organic Traffic Growth
Month-over-month increase in users from search engines, targeting 25-30% quarterly growth
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Revenue generated per euro spent on Google Ads and SEM campaigns, target 3:1 minimum
Keyword Rankings
Position tracking for 50+ target keywords, with focus on top 20 moving to page one
Content Performance
Average engagement metrics (time on page, bounce rate, conversions) for published SEO articles

Is This Role For You?
- You're a Master's student (M1/M2) in digital marketing, communications, or related field eager to apply classroom theory in real campaigns
- You write clearly in French (written and spoken) and enjoy producing engaging content on diverse topics
- You're comfortable with technical fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) and SEO tools like Semrush and Yoast
- You thrive in small teams, take ownership without micromanagement, and want to see direct impact of your work
- You need a guaranteed full-time contract immediately—this is a short internship with optional conversion
- You're not fluent in written and spoken French—this is non-negotiable for the role
- You view SEO/SEM as purely technical—this role requires strong writing and content strategy skills
