The Challenge
Kapitus is hunting for a hands-on search marketing leader to own multi-million dollar digital acquisition budgets and drive step-change growth. You'll drive SEM/SEO strategy across search, social, display, and video with real P&L responsibility and high organizational visibility.
Your Mission
Audit current SEM/SEO campaigns across all platforms; identify quick wins and optimization opportunities
Establish baseline SEM/SEO performance metrics and reporting cadence for leadership visibility
Build relationships with design, content, and development teams; map acquisition paths for key customer segments
Launch 2-3 high-impact test campaigns (keyword expansion, landing page variants, retargeting audiences)
Achieve 15-20% improvement in ROAS across core SEM campaigns through bid optimization and A/B testing
Implement SEO strategy across all digital properties; achieve measurable organic traffic and ranking improvements
Scale top-performing acquisition channels; reallocate spend away from underperformers
Deliver quarterly business reviews with forecasts, spend projections, and competitive landscape insights
KPIs You'll Own
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Track PPC revenue per dollar spent across search, display, and video channels.
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
Monitor blended CPA across all paid channels and compare to target LTV:CAC ratio.
Organic Traffic & Rankings
Measure month-over-month organic sessions, keyword rankings, and SEO-driven conversions.
Budget Utilization & Forecast Accuracy
Track monthly spend against $13MM+ annual budget and accuracy of acquisition forecasts.
Quality Score (Google Ads) / CTR (Click-Through Rate)
Improve ad relevance and landing page experience to lower CPCs and improve visibility.
