The Challenge
Nubank is Latin America's largest fintech with millions of users. You'll own growth mechanics that drive acquisition, activation, and retention across a platform reshaping banking for underbanked populations.
Your Mission
Map current growth funnel and identify top 3 conversion bottlenecks in onboarding or activation
Launch and measure at least one A/B test targeting user acquisition or engagement with statistical significance
Build dashboards tracking core growth metrics (CAC, LTV, retention cohorts) with real-time visibility
Audit existing growth tech stack and document integration opportunities between analytics, CRM, and product tools
Ship 2-3 high-impact growth initiatives (viral loops, referral mechanics, or retention features) showing measurable LTV uplift
Establish scalable growth experimentation framework running 8+ concurrent tests monthly
Reduce user acquisition cost by 15-25% through channel optimization and creative testing
Build predictive churn model and deploy automated intervention campaigns for at-risk segments
KPIs You'll Own
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Track blended CAC across organic, paid, and referral channels; optimize for payback under 6 months.
Monthly Active Users (MAU) / Growth Rate
Measure month-over-month user growth and engagement to validate channel and product initiatives.
Retention Cohorts (Day 7, Day 30, Day 90)
Segment users by signup cohort and track retention curves; identify activation moments that predict long-term engagement.
Conversion Rate (AARRR funnel)
Monitor Acquisition → Activation → Retention → Revenue → Referral stages to isolate growth bottlenecks.
Viral Coefficient / K-factor
Measure organic growth velocity from referral and word-of-mouth mechanics.

Culture
Engineering-driven, data-obsessed, mission-focused on financial inclusion
Is This Role For You?
- You've shipped growth initiatives at B2C scale (1M+ user base) and can tie experiments to business metrics
- You code (SQL, Python, or JavaScript) and can own analytics pipelines end-to-end without waiting on data teams
- You thrive with ambiguity—comfort defining your own metrics and success criteria in a high-growth environment
- You're obsessed with fintech or payments and understand regulatory and compliance nuances in LatAm markets
- You need hand-holding on technical implementation—this role expects autonomy with A/B testing infrastructure and data modeling
- You view growth as vanity metrics—CAC, LTV, and retention cohorts are your native language
- You're uncomfortable with rapid iteration or failing tests publicly; this is a test-heavy culture
