The Challenge

Universal Ads is the self-serve platform making premium video ads as easy as social buying. You'll own the paid demand engine from scratch—foundational work exists, but scaling it is critical to their growth trajectory.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit existing paid channel performance (Search, Social, CTV) and identify quick wins in budget allocation

Establish testing cadence and baseline performance dashboard across 5+ channels

Refine messaging and copy using AI tools to run 3-5 high-velocity test iterations

4

Define and document lead scoring framework with GTM Systems team

By 6 Months

Scale paid demand budget 2-3x while maintaining or improving ROAS and CAC

Launch and optimize at least 2 new channels beyond initial 5, with proven ROI thresholds

Build repeatable automation workflows reducing manual optimization work by 40%+

Achieve consistent qualified MQL pipeline growth and demonstrate higher-value spender acquisition

KPIs You'll Own

ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)

Revenue generated per dollar spent across paid channels; primary profitability measure.

CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)

Total paid acquisition cost per converted spender; tracks unit economics efficiency.

Qualified MQL Volume

Marketing-qualified leads meeting ICP criteria; volume and quality combined.

CPA (Cost Per Acquisition)

Cost to acquire a paying customer; aligned with revenue targets and retention metrics.

Channel-Level Performance

Conversion rate, CTR, and cost trends by channel (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, CTV, Reddit, YouTube).

  • You've scaled paid demand programs from zero or early stage and love owning the full funnel
  • You're comfortable with hands-on channel management across Search, Social, CTV, and emerging platforms
  • You use AI tools (Claude, Cowork, etc.) as productivity multipliers—not theoretical curiosity
  • You translate metrics and ROAS into clear executive narratives and strategic recommendations
Won't Work If
  • You need remote flexibility; this role is on-site in New York
  • You prefer agency-style account management over direct P&L ownership
  • You're uncomfortable with ambiguity; foundational work exists but scaling playbook is your job
