The Challenge
Eatable Adventures runs Colombia's AgrifoodTech Innovation Hub and needs a marketing intern to build community engagement across LinkedIn and Instagram. You'll support content creation, social media management, and campaign execution in a startup-style environment where every post helps shape the future of agrifood innovation.
Your Mission
Execute 40+ social media posts across LinkedIn and Instagram following established content calendars with 90%+ on-time delivery
Support creation of 8-12 pieces of branded content (posts, reels, infographics) adapted across channels with team guidance
Monitor and respond to community comments/messages daily, maintaining response time under 24 hours
Assist in tracking and documenting basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) for monthly reporting
Lead ideation and execution of 2-3 community initiatives from concept through launch with team validation
Build foundational knowledge of 20+ key ecosystem actors and communities in Colombian agrifood space
Contribute to 15%+ month-over-month engagement growth through content optimization and community management
Own event coverage workflow (photography, short video, live posts) for 4+ hub events with minimal supervision

Number of published posts, reels, and stories per week against content calendar targets.

Month-over-month percentage growth across both LinkedIn and Instagram accounts.

- You're pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
- You have basic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or Figma) and understand LinkedIn/Instagram platforms
- You're genuinely interested in startups, innovation, and agrifood/food-tech space
- You thrive in structured, supervised environments with clear guidelines and continuous feedback
- You can sign a formal internship agreement and commit to on-site work in Bogotá/Caldas area
- You need complete autonomy or dislike working under close supervision and established processes
- You have no interest in marketing, community building, or the agrifood/innovation ecosystem
- You can't commit to on-site work in Victoria, Caldas or lack legal ability to sign internship agreements
- You expect immediate impact on strategy—this is a learning role with guided execution
Interview Process
Application Review
Resume, cover letter demonstrating interest in startups/agrifood, and portfolio of any social media or content work
Initial Screening Call
30-min conversation about motivation, understanding of role scope, and experience with social media/design tools
Practical Assignment
Create 1-2 sample social posts (LinkedIn/Instagram style) and simple graphic using Canva based on hub brand guidelines
Team Interview
Meet with Communications Lead and potentially broader team to discuss collaboration fit and learning goals
Internship Agreement
Finalize contract terms and onboarding timeline
