About The Role
Every month, hundreds of people raise their hand for a Tomorrow University degree. Too many go quiet before they apply. Your job is to change that.
As our
CRM and Lifecycle Marketing Manager
, you own one number: how many leads become applicants..From the moment a lead enters our funnel, you design the journey that turns curiosity into application: the messages, the moments, the events. You run the activation engine for warm leads, and the win-back engine for the ones who went cold.
You sit in marketing but work closely with sales. Their weekly funnel review is your weekly funnel review. You are jointly accountable for the conversion numbers, not just the campaigns you shipped.
If you believe a CRM should treat every lead as a person rather than a row in a database, and you want to prove it at scale with AI, this role is for you.
What You'll Own
🎯 Convert warm leads into applications, fast
- Own the journey from new lead to application across email, WhatsApp, and product.
- Design the sequences that move warm leads from interest to action..
- Own the messaging, the channels, the experiments, and the number on the dashboard.
- Be accountable for outcomes, not activity.
- Turn thousands of dormant leads who once raised their hand into a renewable source of pipeline.
- Design win-back journeys, last-chance flows, re-engagement events, quizzes, assessments, and program previews.
- Build the playbook for what works, by persona and by program.
- Own the monthly recycle rate.
- Live in the post-lead funnel: MQL, SQL, Application, Student. Find the drop-offs. Run the experiments.
- Build the dashboards and rituals that turn CRM data into decisions.
- Translate insights into concrete changes in segmentation, messaging, timing, and channel mix.
- Write the lifecycle emails, WhatsApp messages, in-app nudges and reactivation sequences that people actually open and act on.
- In German and English. Both languages perfectly bilingual
- Translate complex academic content into clear, human, motivating words.
- Design banners, event covers and one-pagers in Canva or Figma.
- Own lead handover, SLAs, lead quality and the feedback loop with sales and admissions.
- Improve the lead-to-student journey based on what sales actually hears in conversations.
- Make sure CRM journeys serve what sales needs in their pipeline.
- As a CRM Managerbuild the technical pipeline. You decide what runs through it.
- Define the personas, the voice, the prompts and the editorial guardrails.
- Make every lead receive messaging that feels written for them, at scale and on brand.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, growth or marketing operations, ideally in a fast-paced B2C or B2B2C environment.
- Working fluency in HubSpot (or comparable platform). You can build a workflow, debug a sequence and pull a report without help. You see CRM as a means to more students, not as a craft in itself.
- A proven track record of running lead activation and reactivation campaigns with measurable impact. You can point to numbers that moved because of you.
- Exceptional writing in German and English (C2+ in both), with a clear, human, motivating tone.
- Sharp analytical chops: comfortable in spreadsheets and BI tools, able to turn funnel data into concrete, prioritised changes.
- Prior hands-on experience using AI for personalisation at scale, ideally in CRM or lifecycle, is a plus.
- Prior experience in higher education is a plus.
- A strong aesthetic sense and the ability to design basic assets in Canva or Figma.

Compensation
As an international remote-first organisation, compensation is benchmarked against role level, experience, internal equity, and local market conditions in the candidate’s country of residence. The advertised range reflects the base salary for this role. Depending on the role and seniority level, additional compensation components, such as VSOPs, may also be offered.
