About the Role:
Sezzle is seeking a
Product Marketing Operations Intern
to support the execution, documentation, and analysis of product marketing initiatives across our consumer-facing ecosystem.This role sits within the Product organization and works directly with the Product Marketing Manager. The focus of the internship is operational excellence—turning existing strategies, plans, and ideas into organized, testable, and measurable work. You’ll help document systems that already exist, execute planned experiments that haven’t yet been resourced, and synthesize insights from data and feedback so teams can act on them.
This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and bringing clarity to ambiguity. You’ll gain exposure to how product, marketing, and lifecycle teams collaborate, while owning meaningful projects that contribute to real business outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Product Marketing Operations & Documentation
- Audit and document existing product marketing systems, including transactional emails, lifecycle touchpoints, and messaging frameworks
- Create clear, reusable documentation that helps product marketing work scale beyond a single owner
- Organize and maintain reference materials used across Product Marketing, MarComms, and Lifecycle teams
- Support the execution of planned marketing tests (e.g., SMS, transactional messaging, lifecycle optimizations)
- Help operationalize A/B tests by validating audiences, messaging variants, and success metrics
- Monitor live tests and summarize results, focusing on engagement, app behavior, and repeat usage
- Analyze user feedback from sources like NPS and in-app feedback toolsIdentify recurring themes, pain points, and opportunities across qualitative data
- Pull insights from existing dashboards and reports to support growth strategy updates
- Translate raw data into clear summaries for Product and Marketing stakeholders
- Assist in refreshing growth strategy documentation by validating data, insights, and live messaging
- Partner with cross-functional teammates to confirm what is currently live and what has been learned
- Conduct competitive, feature-by-feature research to understand how similar products are positioned and designed
- Support ad hoc partner requests by pulling historical activations, documentation, or summaries
- Help ensure external-facing materials are accurate, clear, and well-organized
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Product, Analytics, or a related field
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and turning loose direction into clear next steps
- Ability to analyze basic datasets and identify patterns or themesStrong written communication skills
- Previous internship or coursework related to marketing, product, research, or operations
- Familiarity with lifecycle marketing concepts, experimentation, or user journeys
- Experience using tools like spreadsheets, dashboards, or documentation platformsInterest in fintech, consumer apps, or e-commerce

Compensation
: The salary for the Product Marketing Operations Intern is 700 USD monthly gross.#Full-time
