Digital Product Marketing Manager — Product Delivery (TPA)

We are seeking a

Digital Product Marketing Manager

to support product delivery for a consumer-facing

retirement

business, with a primary focus on the

TPA (Third-Party Administrator)

experience. This role partners closely with product, UX, and content teams to help design, build, test, and launch digital capabilities that enable TPAs to administer plans efficiently and confidently.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of digital product development and go-to-market enablement, responsible for aligning delivery details to real TPA workflows, leading UAT readiness, and ensuring in-experience communications and resources are complete at launch.

Key responsibilities

Digital product development

  • Partner with product managers and delivery teams to shape and deliver platform capabilities used by TPAs (e.g., administration workflows, forms/intake, eligibility/enrollment processes, reporting, and operational tasks).
  • Translate roadmap themes into user-ready experiences by clarifying requirements, mapping TPA journeys, and identifying operational edge cases.
  • Define marketing and experience readiness requirements for each release (copy, disclosures, help content, training/support assets, change communications).
  • Track cross-functional dependencies across engineering, product, UX, content, operations, and compliance to keep releases on schedule.

Content & user experience collaboration

  • Collaborate with UX design/research to ensure workflows are intuitive for administrative users and minimize friction in high-volume tasks.
  • Partner with content strategists/writers to create and refine:
  • UI, instructions, and field-level guidance
  • Help center/knowledge base content, FAQs, and how-to articles
  • Process guides and job aids for operational/admin workflows
  • Release notes and change summaries relevant to TPAs
  • Coordinate review and approvals (including legal/compliance where required) to ensure accuracy in a regulated environment.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Lead or coordinate UAT planning and execution for releases impacting TPA tools and workflows.
  • Create test plans and scripts anchored in real TPA scenarios (happy path + edge cases + role/permission variations).
  • Validate end-to-end experiences: functional behavior, content accuracy, workflow clarity, and handoffs to support/operations.
  • Log defects, manage triage, and partner with product/engineering to prioritize fixes; drive UAT sign-off and release readiness.

In-experience communications & resources

  • Develop and launch

    in-product communications

that support change management and adoption for TPAs (e.g., banners, announcements, guided tips, contextual help, release callouts).
  • Ensure launch includes complete supporting resources (FAQs, troubleshooting guidance, onboarding aids, escalation paths).
  • Partner with channel owners (email, portal, support operations) to align communications timing to release availability.
  • Monitor post-launch feedback and performance signals (usage patterns, support tickets/themes, qualitative feedback) and recommend iterations.

What success looks like

  • TPA-facing releases ship with complete, accurate, and easy-to-follow experiences (including guidance and support resources).
  • UAT is thorough and predictable; defects and clarity issues are discovered early and resolved quickly.
  • TPAs can complete administrative workflows with less confusion and fewer support escalations.
  • Product, UX, content, and operations teams remain aligned on dependencies, readiness, and launch commitments.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in digital product marketing, product delivery, digital product management, UX/content collaboration, or implementation/enablement roles.
  • Track record supporting

    end-to-end digital releases

    (requirements → build → UAT → launch → iteration).
  • Strong ability to translate complex workflows into clear guidance and user-facing language.
  • Hands-on UAT leadership experience, including test planning, execution, defect triage, and sign-off.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (financial services/retirement/insurance or similar) and coordinating review/approval workflows.

Skills (preferred)

  • Familiarity with TPA operational workflows, plan administration, and B2B2C retirement/benefits platforms.
  • Experience with Agile delivery (stories, acceptance criteria, backlog partnership).
  • Proficiency with common tools (e.g., Jira, Workfront, Grammarly, CoPilot, Confluence, analytics dashboards).
  • Experience with in-app communication patterns, onboarding, and content governance.
