The Challenge

WHOOP is scaling health tech acquisition across paid media and partnership channels. You'll command significant growth budgets and build the commercial systems that turn marketing spend into predictable member growth at scale.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map current performance marketing spend across Meta, Google, and emerging channels; identify incrementality blind spots and quick-win optimization opportunities

2

Establish acquisition forecasting model and capital allocation framework aligned with Finance and executive expectations

3

Conduct deep audit of affiliate, partnership, and ambassador programs; recommend scaling roadmap for new incremental channels

4

Define measurement and holdout testing protocols; launch 2-3 incrementality studies on top-spend channels

By 6 Months
1

Scale proven acquisition channels with 20%+ incremental CAC improvements through optimized promotional frameworks and channel sequencing

2

Launch and operationalize 2-3 new external demand channels (partnerships, affiliates, or ambassador programs) contributing 10%+ to new member acquisition

3

Build high-functioning Growth Marketing team with clear operating rhythms, weekly performance readouts, and accountability systems

4

Present board-ready growth narrative showing acquisition efficiency trends, margin analysis, and 12-month forward planning

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've led performance marketing teams at high-scale consumer or subscription businesses managing 7+ figure annual budgets
  • You're fluent in incrementality testing, cohort analysis, and translating experiments into capital allocation decisions
  • You combine commercial rigor (forecasting, payback math, budget discipline) with creative channel expansion thinking
  • You thrive in cross-functional environments where you own outcomes but must align Product, Lifecycle, and Finance on trade-offs
  • You're obsessed with building systems and processes that scale-dashboards, forecasts, team rhythms, measurement frameworks
Won't Work If
  • You treat performance marketing as a set-and-forget paid media operation; this requires relentless incrementality thinking and capital discipline
  • You're uncomfortable with on-site work in Boston; this is a full-time, on-site leadership role
  • You lack measurable budget ownership or can't speak to CAC, LTV, payback period, and ROAS with conviction and data
