The Challenge
Trade is the largest marketplace connecting specialty coffee lovers to 500+ freshly roasted coffees from independent roasters. You'll own the full paid media funnel across Meta, Google, and YouTube-driving efficient customer acquisition at scale while the company redefines the specialty coffee category.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize all active paid campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube for efficiency gaps; establish baseline ROAS and CAC metrics
Build and launch structured A/B testing roadmap covering audience segmentation, creative variations, and bid strategies
Partner with creative team to develop and test 8-10 high-performing ad assets across platforms
Map emerging AI search behavior (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) and pilot visibility/optimization strategy
Scale top-performing campaigns by 30%+ while maintaining or improving ROAS targets
Reduce CAC by 15-20% through systematic testing and audience optimization
Develop and execute SEO strategy covering keyword research, content optimization, and technical audits
Establish monthly growth insights report identifying 3-5 actionable levers for next quarter

CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)
Track cost-per-customer across all paid channels; target reduction through testing and optimization.
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Measure revenue generated per dollar spent on paid media; primary efficiency metric across platforms.
CTR (Click-Through Rate)
Monitor and improve ad engagement; key lever for reducing CPC and improving overall efficiency.
Media Efficiency Ratio
Overall blended efficiency; track month-over-month improvement as testing compounds.
