The Challenge

This impact-driven startup has proven circular economy tech already in market-but their e-commerce channel is raw. You'll build it from foundation to €300-350K ARR, owning everything from tracking infrastructure to paid acquisition and CRM. Real autonomy. Real impact.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit existing e-commerce setup, define baseline metrics (conversion rate, AOV, traffic sources), and establish reliable GA4 + event tracking across PrestaShop migration

2

Launch initial Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns with proper UTM structure; establish monthly budget + ROAS targets

3

Map full customer journey (B2C + B2B), identify conversion bottlenecks, and ship first round of UX improvements on checkout flow

4

Select and configure CRM tool (likely HubSpot or Brevo); design core automation workflows for post-purchase nurture

By 6 Months
1

Hit €250K+ e-commerce ARR with clear path to €300-350K; document monthly LTV:CAC ratio and payback period

2

Achieve 2%+ conversion rate on B2C funnel through continuous A/B testing and site optimization

3

Build scalable outbound strategy via Waalaxy; generate 50+ qualified B2B leads/month with documented conversion rates

4

Establish retention playbook: email sequences, repeat purchase rate, customer segmentation; grow repeat customer revenue to 25%+ of total

KPIs You'll Own

E-commerce Revenue

Track monthly ARR progression toward €300-350K target; break down B2C vs B2B contribution

Conversion Rate

Monitor B2C checkout conversion (target: 2%+) and B2B lead-to-qualified conversion; segment by traffic source

Customer LTV:CAC Ratio

Measure payback period and unit economics; ensure paid acquisition scales profitably (target: 3:1 minimum)

Repeat Purchase Rate

Track % of customers returning within 12 months; monitor email engagement and segmentation performance

ROAS by Channel

Weekly ROAS tracking on Meta and Google; identify winning audiences and scaling opportunities

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've run full-funnel e-commerce P&L for 5+ years and want to own end-to-end growth in a startup context
  • You're comfortable building from zero (CRM, tracking, acquisition strategy) and enjoy seeing your work ship fast
  • You care about climate impact and want your growth skills applied to something meaningful, not another clickbait funnel
  • You thrive with autonomy and don't need hand-holding; you move fast and report outcomes, not activities
  • You know PrestaShop or are willing to learn it; no fear of operational hands-on work alongside strategy
Won't Work If
  • You need a fully staffed team or prefer to manage others over doing the work yourself-you'll be wearing multiple hats
  • You require salary clarity/transparency negotiation-compensation not specified; may signal early-stage financial tightness
  • You're looking for remote flexibility; this is strict Paris on-site
  • You want a predictable role where everything is documented and optimized-this is build-it-yourself territory with ambiguity

Interview Process

1

Initial conversation

Discussion of e-commerce experience, specific campaigns you've run, and ROAS/LTV metrics you've achieved

2

Case study or strategy challenge

Likely asked to outline your first 90 days for this exact e-commerce setup: tracking plan, acquisition strategy, CRM roadmap

3

Founder/leadership interview

Conversation about mission alignment, autonomy expectations, and how you think about circular economy as a business moat

4

Reference checks

Validation of e-commerce scale and growth results from previous roles
