The Challenge

Sage is hunting for a bold performance marketing leader to own growth across Southern Europe, with France as the core battleground. You'll build the regional demand engine from strategy through execution, scaling pipeline and ROI across SMB and Mid-Market segments.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current performance funnel and identify quick wins in paid channels, CRM lifecycle, and ABM to improve SQO and conversion rates

2

Map Southern European market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer insights to sharpen targeting and value propositions

3

Build and align regional team on quarterly performance targets, KPIs, and weekly trading cadence

4

Establish data infrastructure and weekly reporting dashboards to track pipeline, SQO, conversion, and ROI in real-time

By 6 Months

Deliver documented 15-20% improvement in regional SQO and pipeline contribution vs. baseline

2

Launch integrated ABM and partner-led marketing campaigns across Southern Europe with measurable ROI by channel

3

Scale high-performing paid acquisition campaigns (Google, LinkedIn, intent platforms) with clear CAC and LTV modeling

4

Embed test-and-learn culture with 8+ completed experiments driving performance gains and AI tool adoption

Regional SQO & Pipeline Contribution

Monthly qualified opportunity volume and attributed pipeline revenue from performance marketing across all channels.

Funnel Conversion Rates

Tracked across awareness, consideration, and decision stages with weekly monitoring and optimization.

Performance Marketing ROI

Revenue generated divided by total performance marketing spend, with target-setting by channel and campaign.

Cost Per SQO & Cost Per Acquisition

Unit economics by channel (paid search, display, LinkedIn, ABM, partner) with efficiency benchmarking.

Team Productivity & Engagement

Internal metrics on team development, retention, and ownership of assigned P&L or channel responsibilities.
