About You

We’re seeking an experienced, strategic marketplace leader to provide coverage for our Marketplaces team. This individual will lead day-to-day operations across Amazon and Walmart while driving strategic initiatives, partnering cross-functionally, and ensuring the business continues to deliver against revenue, profitability, and operational goals. This role will be a hybrid management role with Q4 2026 focused on Media and Marketing and Q1 2027 focused on Operations and Retail. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable influencing senior leadership, and experienced managing complex marketplace businesses.

This is a contract position: 6mo duration, 30-40 hours per week commitment and the role will report to the VP, Marketplaces.

Responsibilities:

General:

  • Leverage data to provide performance reporting, conduct in-depth analysis, and derive actionable insights to inform optimization strategies for enhanced performance.

  • Build executive-ready presentations, business reviews, and strategic recommendations.

  • Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable business decisions.

  • Develop and manage communications with external agency partners and cross-functional teams to review on site performance and recommend improvements

  • Drive alignment, remove roadblocks, and ensure initiatives are executed on time.

  • Manage agency and external partner relationships by establishing priorities, monitoring deliverables, and hold partners accountable to KPIs and business outcomes.

Media & Marketing focused:

  • Oversee media planning, budgeting, and execution of monthly strategy, including HVEs.

  • Partner with agencies and external partners to identify and activate media optimizations weekly.

  • Analyze campaign performance data and market trends to inform strategy and optimize spend.

  • Lead partnership and communications with agency and Amazon Ads partners.

  • Execute against learning objectives to drive continuous performance.

  • Oversee marketing campaign development in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Identify and propose media strategy improvements through testing, analysis, and reporting.

  • Own media performance tracking and reporting for internal and external audiences.

Operations focused:

  • Own operational performance across Amazon and Walmart marketplaces.

  • Collaborate on inventory planning and health for marketplace channels by reviewing inventory levels, forecasting risks and opportunities, partnering cross-functionally to resolve supply constraints, and ensuring the business maintains optimal in-stock positions to support sales and profitability.

  • Monitor business performance through daily, weekly, and monthly metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Develop data-driven strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and cost savings targets. Proactively identify outliers and recommend actions to improve business performance

  • Develop and execute customer retention initiatives that improve repeat purchase behavior and long-term customer value.

  • Manage the full marketplace product portfolio across Amazon and Walmart, ensuring best-in-class product detail pages, retail readiness, and support ongoing tests and optimizations.

  • Ensure quality and regulatory compliance, manage account health, and maintain seller account standing across all inputs.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in eCommerce, integrated media, marketplace, retail, or business management.

  • Understanding of Amazon marketplace (Seller Central) and Walmart (Seller Center) best practices

  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating with senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with operational execution.

  • Experience managing data analysis, including tracking and delivering data and insights to cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.

  • Strong working knowledge of the full Google Suite (Excel, Word, Slides, etc.) and Slack

  • Knowledge and experience working in Tableau

Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.Salary Range:$80—$100 USD
