A Day In The Life
As a Field Marketing Manager at Monster Energy, you will supercharge the execution of our dynamic sampling events, ignite the passion of our Monster Ambassador Team (MAT), and lead the electrifying Golden Squad and Collegiate Ambassador Team (CAT) programs. You'll spearhead exhilarating college events and brand activations, ensuring every interaction is charged with our brand's iconic energy and experiential excellence. Your role is pivotal in developing, training, and inspiring local teams to turbocharge consumer trial and amplify brand awareness. Working in perfect harmony with your local team and HQ, you’ll ensure our programs align seamlessly with Monster Energy’s broader marketing and sales objectives, fueling the momentum of our lifestyle brand to new heights.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Design and implement regional sampling strategies to drive trial, brand visibility, and engagement. Ensure brand standards are met and programs are tailored to resonate with core target and to recruit new consumers.
- Lead the College Plan in each region (plan, execute, measure KPIs). Manage the execution of university-focused programs, including CAT initiatives, events, and brand activations. Collaborate with students key opinion formers to implement takeovers and build brand presence in key university spaces. Collaborate with commercial team to leverage sales opportunities.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and daily coordination of MAT leaders and Golden Squad team members to ensure operations and strong brand representation at all events. Assist in mentoring high performing MATs and team members, encouraging growth and preparing them for expanded responsibilities within field marketing.
- Translate marketing priorities (e.g., NPDs (New Product Developments), promotions, events) into relevant executions that maximize sampling impact.
- Create a connection between HQ marketing, bottlers, agencies, and partners to ensure program alignment, resource availability, and execution of sampling initiatives. Present and approve projects in internal committees (i.e. FPF - Future Projects Forum).
- Collect feedback, photos, and basic performance data from activations to support program evaluation and ongoing improvements. Share insights with leadership and relevant teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to remain competitive and relevant. Monitor and analyze metrics to measure the success of marketing efforts and adjust strategies accordingly
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in on-site brand activation, experiential marketing.
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in managing field marketing programs, sampling activations
- Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Office
