Accountabilities:
Email & SMS Strategy: Own the end-to-end email and SMS marketing strategy and execution in Klaviyo, with a focus on customer engagement, repeat purchases, retention, and revenue growth.
Campaign Management: Build, schedule, launch, test, and optimize promotional campaigns aligned with commercial priorities, product launches, promotions, and key selling periods.
Lifecycle Automation: Create, manage, and continuously improve automated customer journeys, including welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, and retention flows.
Audience Segmentation: Develop meaningful audience segments based on customer behavior, purchase history, engagement, lifecycle stage, and other relevant customer signals.
Campaign Calendar: Own and maintain campaign calendars to coordinate messaging around promotions, launches, seasonal opportunities, and important commercial moments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with creative and e-commerce teams to develop effective messaging, offers, campaign concepts, and supporting marketing assets.
Testing & Optimization: Plan and execute A/B tests across subject lines, content, offers, timing, audiences, and other campaign variables to improve performance.
Deliverability & List Health: Monitor email and SMS deliverability, audience quality, engagement, and list health while following relevant compliance and deliverability best practices.
Performance Analytics: Track and analyze revenue, conversion, open, click, engagement, and retention metrics to evaluate campaign and lifecycle performance.
Continuous Improvement: Use performance data and customer insights to identify opportunities, refine strategies, and continuously improve email and SMS effectiveness.
Requirements
Klaviyo Expertise: Strong hands-on experience using Klaviyo to manage email and SMS marketing programs, campaigns, automation, segmentation, and optimization.
E-Commerce Experience: Proven experience in email and SMS marketing within e-commerce, DTC, consumer products, retail, or a closely related environment.
Lifecycle Marketing: Demonstrated experience building sophisticated automated flows and customer journeys across different stages of the customer lifecycle.
Segmentation & Personalization: Strong understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, behavioral targeting, and retention-focused lifecycle marketing.
Performance Analysis: Comfortable analyzing revenue, conversion, open rates, click-through rates, engagement, retention, and other marketing performance metrics.
A/B Testing: Experience designing, executing, and interpreting A/B tests to optimize campaigns, messaging, offers, timing, and audiences.
Marketing Judgment: Strong copywriting, merchandising, promotional, and commercial instincts, with the ability to connect creative execution to business outcomes.
Deliverability: Solid understanding of email and SMS deliverability, list health, compliance, and best practices for maintaining strong engagement and sender performance.
Analytical Mindset: Data-driven and comfortable using campaign performance insights to make decisions and continuously refine marketing programs.
Execution & Ownership: Highly hands-on, organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing multiple campaigns, flows, and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative, e-commerce, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Consumer Products: Previous experience marketing consumer products is a plus.
