Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional team of engineers delivering growth-critical systems and features
- Collaborate with Product and Design to define scope, set priorities, and ensure seamless execution
- Maintain project timelines, clear expectations, and transparent communication with stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance on architecture, design decisions, and implementation best practices
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous learning within the team
- Improve team processes, collaboration, and efficiency across distributed and remote environments
- Partner with other engineering leaders to align best practices and standards across the broader Growth organization
- Stay hands-on with code, contributing production-grade features and modeling high-quality engineering practices
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment
- Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, and empowering engineers
- Solid technical foundation, particularly in backend systems, with ability to engage in design discussions and code reviews
- High proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or similar)
- Experience in distributed, remote-first teams and familiarity with AI-driven development tools
- Product-oriented mindset with a focus on user impact and business metrics
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to align engineering efforts with business goals
- Preferred: experience with growth tooling, analytics, experimentation, SDKs, or scaling teams during high-growth phases
