Summary
We are looking for a Senior MCP Salesforce Engineer to design, implement, and evolve data-driven marketing and personalization solutions for our enterprise clients. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end technical solution design, defining architectures, data flows, and integration patterns that enable scalable analytics and real-time personalization. This position blends deep technical architecture ownership with client-facing collaboration, requiring you to oversee build quality, remain hands-on when configuring components, and guide both technical and business stakeholders through complex trade-offs.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in technical architecture, MarTech engineering, or advanced Salesforce platform implementations.
- Proven hands-on experience working directly with Marketing Cloud Intelligence (MCI / Datorama) and/or Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP / Interaction Studio).
- Strong background designing and executing data-driven marketing analytics and personalization solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, leading technical design sessions, and driving implementation decisions.
- Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable technical architectures and end-to-end data flows.
- Design real-time personalization architectures within MCP, configuring Site Map rules, decision logic, and interaction flows.
- Architect cross-channel marketing analytics solutions within MCI, managing data ingestion, normalization, and harmonization processes.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript logic for behavioral tracking, event configuration, and audience segmentation.
- Produce and maintain robust architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and data flow artifacts.
- Build and maintain automated data pipelines using APIs, connectors, and standard integrations.
- Review build work to ensure high quality, scalability, and strict alignment with architectural standards.
- Salesforce Core Architecture: Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including data modeling, security, and automation using Salesforce Flow.
- Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP): Deep expertise in implementing behavioral tracking, audience segmentation, rule-based/AI-driven personalization, and writing JavaScript for tracking logic.
- Marketing Cloud Intelligence (MCI): Ability to define KPI frameworks, build dashboards, and ensure marketing data quality and governance.
- Integration & Data Flow: Deep understanding of integration patterns, data flow design, and the ability to determine when Apex or external integrations are required versus declarative Flow-driven solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) or similar CDP platforms.
- 2+ years of specialized experience in data modeling, identity resolution concepts, and data activation.
- Python proficiency for data processing or analytics automation.
- 2–3 Salesforce certifications, highly preferring: Marketing Cloud Personalization, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Salesforce Architect certifications, or Sales/Service Cloud Consultant.
- Executive Communication: Clear communicator capable of translating complex technical concepts to both technical teams and non-technical business audiences.
- Strategic Alignment: Strong ability to bridge the gap between technical architecture and overarching business objectives.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Comfort working with complex, data-intensive products and navigating nuanced technical constraints.
- Quality Focus: Proactive and detail-oriented approach to solution ownership, from initial design through final delivery.
- Language: Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) for seamless client collaboration and technical documentation.
