Role Description
Energiot is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in Barcelona and help lead the next stage of our marketing and communications strategy.
This person will work closely with the Chief Business Officer and become a key owner of Energiot’s marketing function, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The role is ideal for someone who can build processes, create content, coordinate external partners, activate freelancers, manage campaigns, and help turn Energiot’s technology and market traction into strong brand reputation and qualified commercial opportunities.
We are looking for someone with solid B2B marketing experience, preferably in technology, energy, IoT, SaaS, cleantech, or industrial markets. The person should be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment, translating technical concepts into clear messages, and using AI and automation tools to make marketing more scalable, efficient, and measurable.
The main goal of this role is to strengthen Energiot’s brand in the energy sector and generate qualified leads for the sales team through a combination of account-based marketing, inbound marketing, content, digital campaigns, events, PR, social media, and strategic communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute Energiot’s marketing roadmap, aligning brand, communication, lead generation, and sales priorities.
- Build scalable marketing processes using AI tools, automation, templates, workflows, and external partners.
- Develop and manage Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and inbound marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads.
- Manage Energiot’s website, SEO, AI search visibility, landing pages, newsletters, lead capture flows, and conversion improvements.
- Create and coordinate Energiot’s social media presence, PR activities, and high-quality content.
- Plan and coordinate Energiot’s presence at industry events.
- Translate technical product concepts into clear, compelling messages for customers, partners, investors, and other relevant audiences.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Technical, and Management teams to align messaging with customer needs, product capabilities, and commercial priorities.
Support sales enablement through presentations, pitch decks, product materials, and commercial communication materials.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive positioning, and market opportunities.
- Define, monitor, and improve marketing KPIs.
Manage freelancers, agencies, designers, copywriters, and other external collaborators.
Qualifications
Essential
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in technology, energy, IoT, SaaS, or cleantech.
Proven experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM), inbound marketing, lead generation, and digital campaigns.
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and commercially relevant messages.
Experience creating and managing high-quality content, including articles, case studies, presentations, sales materials, email campaigns, and social media posts.
Good understanding of SEO, website management, marketing analytics, CRM workflows, and campaign performance.
Experience using AI tools and automation to improve marketing productivity, research, content creation, and campaign execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and external partners.
Hands-on, autonomous, and proactive mindset, comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to connect marketing actions with commercial outcomes.
Preferred
Experience marketing to utilities, grid operators, or energy companies.
Previous experience in smart grid, energy transition, grid monitoring, IoT, hardware-enabled SaaS, or deep tech.
Good eye for design, visual storytelling, brand consistency, and content quality.
