The Challenge

BritBox is a scrappy British streaming service punching above its weight across 7 markets. You'll own the complete growth machine for BBC Select—from acquisition strategy to partner negotiations—with real P&L accountability and zero corporate bureaucracy.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current acquisition channels and establish baseline metrics for CPA, LTV, and cohort payback periods across paid, partner, and owned

2

Build 12-month subscriber and revenue forecasting model with scenario planning to guide budget allocation decisions

3

Map partner platform dynamics (Amazon, Roku Channel, etc.) and identify 2-3 quick-win optimization opportunities

4

Define integrated campaign framework and creative approval process, then launch first cross-channel campaign

By 6 Months

Deliver subscriber acquisition growth targets with improved marketing efficiency ratio (revenue per marketing dollar spent)

Launch 3-4 major integrated campaigns with documented creative performance and strategic pivot recommendations

Establish ongoing partnership strategy with syndication partners, negotiating improved organic merchandising placements

4

Scale highest-performing paid channels and sunset underperforming tactics based on data-driven analysis

Monthly and quarterly new subscriber additions against forecasted targets.

Revenue generated per marketing dollar spent; primary accountability metric.

Campaign ROAS

Return on ad spend by campaign and channel to guide creative and media decisions.

Cohort Payback Period

Months to recover marketing investment from subscriber cohorts.
