This freelance opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Social Media Manager with a passion for both sport and entertainment. The role centers on elevating a global media and lifestyle brand that uniquely blends coverage of major sporting events and entertainment spectacles. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the brand’s digital presence, ensuring its identity and storytelling resonate across all platforms. The position offers flexibility and autonomy, making it well-suited for a creative, data-driven professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Deliverables
- Develop and refine brand identity and guidelines for digital channels
- Create, curate, and direct compelling content tailored to diverse audiences
- Oversee daily publishing schedules and manage community engagement across platforms
- Analyze performance metrics to inform strategy and drive consistent growth
- Collaborate on paid social campaigns, SEO initiatives, and influencer partnerships
- Support the launch of new product lines, digital magazines, and event-based experiences
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, including apparel, city guides, and pop-up events
- Minimum 6 years of experience in social media management, preferably with global or lifestyle brands
- Demonstrated expertise in content strategy, brand development, and digital storytelling
- Proficiency with major social platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and analytics tools
- Strong understanding of paid social, SEO, and influencer marketing best practices
- Experience working with startups or scaling brands is highly desirable
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving priorities
- Familiarity with brand identity systems, including color palettes and typography, is a plus
- Flexible availability to accommodate event-driven publishing and engagement
