Your mission

As Social Media Lead, you will own and shape the social media vision for Dorel Juvenile brands. This role is focused on driving transformation, long term brand equity, and measurable commercial impact through social media.


You will lead the end to end social media strategy across brands, regions, and channels, translating brand ambition into a coherent, future proof social ecosystem. Acting as a true strategic partner, you will work closely with Dorel Juvenile’s executive team and collaborate intensively with internal creative, content, and digital stakeholders.


This role operates at the intersection of strategy, brand, transformation, and execution. Social media sits at the core of Dorel Juvenile’s brand and business strategy, and in this role you will work closely with executive leadership to elevate social as a key driver of growth, relevance, and connection with consumers.


Key responsibilities

Strategy & Transformation Leadership

  • Own and lead the global social media strategy for Dorel Juvenile brands, aligned with overarching brand and business objectives.
  • Lead the transformation of social media from primarily execution‑focused activity into a strategic, insight‑driven growth engine that delivers brand and commercial impact.
  • Define vision, principles, governance, and operating models for social media across brands, regions, and platforms.
  • Identify and lead innovation opportunities across platforms, formats, creator partnerships, and technology.
  • Expand and professionalize influencer and creator strategies, evolving from tactical collaborations to long‑term, value‑driven partnerships that support brand equity and performance.


Brand & Creative Leadership

  • Lead social strategy across key brand moments, launches, and integrated campaigns.
  • Translate brand positioning into powerful and consistent social storytelling, while allowing for local relevance.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and the Multimedia Studio to shape social‑first creative excellence.
  • Safeguard brand consistency, tone of voice, and quality across all social touchpoints globally.


People Leadership & Team Management

  • Directly manage a social media team, providing vision, clarity, and coaching.
  • Build future‑ready capabilities, elevate seniority, and set clear expectations for performance and impact.


Senior Stakeholder & Executive Management

  • Confidently represent social media strategy in executive discussions and decision‑making forums.
  • Work closely with other departments to align brand, performance, data, and other initiatives.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with authority, diplomacy, and strategic clarity.


Your profile

  • 9+ years of experience in social media roles within international environments.
  • Proven track record in defining and leading social media strategies at enterprise level.
  • Demonstrated experience driving strategic transformation and organizational change.
  • Strong and credible people leader.
  • Comfortable operating at C‑level, including direct interaction with CEOs and executive leadership teams.
  • Deep understanding of brand, creative processes, content ecosystems, and digital marketing integration.
  • Politically astute, stakeholder‑savvy, and confident in dispersed or matrixed organizational structures.
  • Strategic, visionary, and decisive — with hands‑on credibility when needed.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

This is a locally hired position open to candidates based within the European Union. Applicants must have current and valid authorization to work in an EU country. Please note that Dorel does not provide visa, immigration, or work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

  • A competitive salary up to 90k per year including a 13th month salary and holiday allowance.
  • A full-time position (32–40 hours per week) within a flexible and supportive organization.
  • An annual contract to start with, including a one-month probation period.
  • A remote role within Europe, with regular in‑person collaboration moments, including visits to our EU headquarters in Helmond and our creative studio in Eindhoven.
  • 28 vacation days per year based on full-time employment, with the option to purchase additional leave.
