What you'll do
About American Health Group S.A.S.
American Health Group S.A.S. is a Medellin-based healthcare growth and operations company building patient-centered brands that connect international patients with high-quality care in Colombia. Our flagship property, Colombia Smile Studio, is the company’s current primary growth focus. The person hired for this role will work directly on building and scaling Colombia Smile Studio, a premium dental tourism brand serving international patients who seek personalized care and a trusted experience in Medellin.
About the Role
You own our social media presence end to end. Your job is to turn our clinical work and the Medellin experience into content that attracts international patients, primarily from the US. Content is mainly dental (transformations, testimonials, clinical work) supported by travel and tourism content that shows patients what their trip to Medellin looks like. You will create, post, and manage content across platforms, engage with followers, and work directly with the clinical team to capture patient stories. This is a hands-on creator role, not just a scheduling role.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Capture photo and video content in the clinic: before/after transformations, patient testimonials, behind-the-scenes, and doctor features
- Create travel and tourism content around the patient experience: the city, hotels, restaurants, recovery, and what a treatment trip to Medellin looks like
- Use AI tools to scale content production: scriptwriting and copy, image generation, motion graphics, video enhancement, and voiceovers
- Write all captions, hooks, and copy in fluent English for a US audience
- Edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) with trending formats, sounds, and pacing
- Manage the content calendar and maintain a consistent posting schedule
- Respond to comments and DMs, and route qualified patient inquiries to the treatment coordinator
- Track performance metrics: reach, engagement, follower growth, and inquiries generated
- Stay current on dental, aesthetic, and medical tourism content trends, plus new AI content tools
- Coordinate with patients for content consent and filming during their visits
Requirements
- Fluent English, spoken and written (required, this is non-negotiable); all content is for a US audience
- 3+ years managing social media for a brand, clinic, or business with proven results
- Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with AI content tools (ChatGPT/Claude for writing, Midjourney or similar for images, AI video and motion graphics tools) and eagerness to adopt new ones
- Comfortable on camera and comfortable directing patients and doctors on camera
- Strong eye for aesthetics, trends, and what performs on each platform
- Organized and self-directed; able to run the content operation without daily oversight
- Experience in dental, aesthetics, healthcare, or medical tourism strongly preferred
- Portfolio or account examples required with application
Compensation
- Base salary: 5,500,000 to 6,000,000 COP monthly, based on experience
- Eligible for performance bonuses
