The Challenge

Webconversion is a B2B digital marketing agency obsessed with qualified lead generation. They need an SEO/GEO strategist to own visibility and performance for demanding clients (PMEs to ETIs). You'll be the go-to SEO brain—auditing, optimizing, reporting, and actually moving the needle on business outcomes.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Complete technical and semantic SEO audits for 3-4 client sites using Search Console, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog; deliver actionable roadmaps

Set up automated SEO performance tracking and reporting dashboards for key clients; establish baseline metrics

3

Launch 2-3 netlinking campaigns with clear link-building strategies aligned to client business goals

4

Create 5+ SEO-optimized content briefs for B2B clients; validate content strategy with internal team

By 6 Months
1

Own full SEO strategy lifecycle for 5-6 B2B clients; demonstrate measurable organic traffic growth (15%+ target)

Build repeatable GEO and local SEO playbook; implement for 2+ multi-location clients

Establish yourself as the SEO advisor in client meetings; lead strategy workshops and roadmap planning

4

Contribute to agency thought leadership: create case studies, competitive analyses, and SEO trend insights

Month-over-month percentage increase in organic sessions for assigned client portfolio.

Keyword Rankings

Number of target keywords ranking in top 10 and top 20 positions; tracked in Semrush/Ahrefs.

Lead Volume from Organic

Qualified leads generated from organic search for B2B clients; tied directly to business impact.

Client Satisfaction

Feedback on strategy clarity, reporting quality, and responsiveness during monthly review calls.

  • You have 3+ years of hands-on SEO (technical + semantic) with B2B clients or similar portfolio
  • You're fluent with industry tools (Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and use them to make decisions
  • You speak business: you connect SEO initiatives to lead volume, pipeline, and revenue impact
  • You're comfortable owning end-to-end client relationships—audits, strategy, execution, and reporting
Won't Work If
  • You're SEO-only and uncomfortable discussing business outcomes, ROI, or lead generation metrics
  • You need full remote work or flexibility; this role is on-site in Lyon with only 1 day/week WFH
  • You haven't managed B2B SEO campaigns or led projects; this is hands-on consulting, not junior execution
