Your Team
Youâll be joining a lean, high-performing go-to-market team during a pivotal phase of Evertuneâs growth. Our GTM org spans client services, sales, and marketing - working together to close business, shape strategy, and scale our client base across both brands and agencies. We operate with urgency, clarity, and trust â collaborating closely to drive impact for every partner we work with.
This role will sit within Client Services and report to our VP of Client Services, while working closely with Product as a key voice of the customer and internal SEO/GEO subject matter expert. Youâll operate at the intersection of client strategy, technical SEO, AI visibility, and product feedback - helping Evertune define what best-in-class AI discovery strategy looks like for both our customers and our own business.
As one of the first hires in this function, you wonât just support clients â youâll help define the playbook. Youâll have direct access to leadership, tight alignment with product and engineering, and a front-row seat to how a venture-backed startup builds in one of the fastest-changing spaces in tech.
Your Role
Weâre hiring an AI Strategist to serve as Evertuneâs client-facing SEO/GEO expert. This is a highly strategic, hands-on role for someone who can translate AI and LLM visibility insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients - from brands with mature SEO teams to marketers who are just beginning to understand how they show up in AI-generated results.
Youâll help clients understand how they show up in AI-generated results, translate those insights into clear recommendations, and build the playbook for how brands can improve their visibility over time. Whether that means advising on technical SEO foundations, content strategy, schema, site structure, backlinking, or broader discoverability strategy â youâll be the person we bring into conversations when clients want to go deep.
This role will also partner very closely with Product. Youâll help Evertune determine what customers actually need from the platform versus what is simply table stakes from legacy SEO tooling, and youâll bring a strong point of view on where we should invest in order to better serve modern marketers navigating GEO and AI search.
While this is not a traditional Customer Success Manager role, this person will own a focused book of technically sophisticated clients where deep SEO/GEO credibility is essential. Success in this role will look different from the rest of the Client Services team: youâll be measured not just by retention and growth, but by the strength of the strategic playbooks you build, the product insights you help shape, and the depth of expertise you bring to our most complex customer relationships.
You must be based in the NYC area and available to work in-office 3x/week at our Flatiron location.
Responsibilities
- Develop Evertuneâs client playbook for understanding AI visibility and turning those insights into clear technical, content, and strategic actions that improve GEO performance
- Own a focused book of strategic and technically sophisticated clients, where deep subject matter expertise is core to the partnership, adoption strategy, and account growth
- Act as Evertuneâs client-facing SEO / GEO specialist, leading technical and strategic conversations for your own accounts while supporting the broader Client Services team on high-complexity client needs
- Translate platform insights into actionable recommendations that drive product usage, stronger customer outcomes, and expanded partnerships
- Partner closely with Product as a key voice of the customer, helping distinguish essential platform capabilities from nice-to-have features
- Bring customer feedback, market context, and hands-on SEO / GEO expertise into the product development process - helping shape roadmap priorities based on what clients actually need
- Help define Evertuneâs point of view on modern SEO, GEO, and AI discovery by identifying repeatable patterns, opportunities, and best practices across the client base
- Build internal frameworks, enablement materials, and training that raise SEO / GEO fluency across Client Services and the broader go-to-market organization
- Support select pre-sale conversations where deep SEO / GEO expertise can strengthen credibility and help prospects understand the strategic value of the platform
- 7+ years of experience in SEO, with strong hands-on technical depth across both strategy and execution
- Experience owning SEO programs at a brand, agency, consultancy, or SEO-focused technology company
- Strong command of core technical SEO concepts, including crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, schema, content discoverability, and backlink strategy
- Strong familiarity with AI search, LLM visibility, and GEO â and a clear point of view on how AI-powered discovery is changing modern SEO strategy
- Ability to connect traditional SEO fundamentals to emerging AI / LLM search behavior and turn that into practical recommendations for clients
- Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO, GEO, and AI search concepts to both sophisticated practitioners and less technical marketers
- Proven judgment in identifying what matters most for improving visibility, rather than defaulting to generic SEO best practices
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to identify patterns, diagnose issues, and prioritize action
- Demonstrated ability to operate cross-functionally and influence decision-making across client services, product, and go-to-market teams
- Comfort working in ambiguity and building new playbooks, frameworks, and processes in a fast-moving startup environment
- Based in NYC and available to work in-office 3x/week
- Experience working with enterprise brands or agency partners
- Experience shaping product feedback, feature prioritization, or roadmap discussions
- Background that combines technical SEO depth with strong external-facing or consultative skills
- Existing thought leadership or an active voice on LinkedIn in SEO, GEO, or AI search

The annual base salary range for this position is: $120,000 â $150,000 + stock options. his role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation based on company performance and individual impact.
