The Challenge

Sezzle is redefining how people buy now and pay later with interest-free installments. You'll operationalize their product marketing machine—turning strategy into documented systems, running live experiments, and surfacing insights that drive conversion and merchant impact.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit and document 5-7 core product marketing systems (transactional emails, lifecycle touchpoints, messaging frameworks) with clear SOPs

Execute 2-3 planned A/B tests end-to-end: validate audiences, set up variants, monitor performance, and summarize results

3

Synthesize NPS and in-app feedback into 2-3 insight summaries with recurring themes and actionable opportunities

4

Build competitive positioning research covering 3-4 similar BNPL/fintech products with feature-by-feature breakdowns

By 6 Months
1

Own a full product marketing documentation ecosystem that scales beyond single-owner dependencies

Execute and report on 5-7 lifecycle or messaging experiments, tracking engagement, app behavior, and repeat purchase lift

Deliver quarterly growth strategy refresh document validated against live data, learnings, and partner feedback

4

Create reusable reference library (messaging, audience segments, test results) adopted by Product, MarComms, and Lifecycle teams

KPIs You'll Own

Documentation Coverage %

Percentage of product marketing systems (emails, touchpoints, messaging) that have clear, maintained documentation.

Test Execution Velocity

Number of planned A/B tests executed and reported on per month, measured against roadmap.

Insight Adoption Rate

How many insights synthesized from data/feedback are acted upon by Product or Marketing within 30 days.

Experiment Lift Impact

Average engagement, conversion, or repeat usage lift from tests you've operationalized and monitored.
