What you'll do

Accountabilities:

  • Own and drive public sector go-to-market strategy across Federal, State, Local, and Education segments, ensuring strong positioning and messaging alignment.

  • Develop deep buyer and persona insights, including procurement dynamics, compliance requirements, and agency-specific IT challenges.

  • Translate technical product capabilities into differentiated, value-driven messaging tailored to government IT environments.

  • Lead messaging strategy for product launches, campaigns, and public sector-specific initiatives in collaboration with product and marketing teams.

  • Create and maintain sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, battlecards, case studies, and RFP/RFI frameworks.

  • Support sales teams with training and tools to effectively communicate value within complex government procurement cycles.

  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including content, webinars, events, and industry engagements.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to track performance, refine messaging, and optimize public sector pipeline impact.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing within B2B software, IT management, or public sector technology environments.

  • Strong understanding of public sector buying processes, procurement frameworks, compliance standards, and government IT stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to develop compelling go-to-market strategies and translate technical concepts into clear, impactful messaging.

  • Experience working closely with sales enablement, demand generation, product, and cross-functional marketing teams.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence executive and technical audiences.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using market insights and data to drive strategic decisions.

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Confluence, Highspot, Asana, and related GTM platforms.

  • Bonus: experience with FedRAMP, CMMC, or security clearance environments.
