What you'll do
Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and value propositions across a broad portfolio of environmental monitoring and technology solutions.
Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, buyer-focused messaging that supports sales effectiveness and competitive differentiation.
Lead competitive intelligence initiatives by monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, market positioning, and product developments.
Produce actionable competitive briefs, battle cards, objection-handling resources, and sales enablement materials to support field teams during sales cycles.
Build and maintain a comprehensive sales enablement library including one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch narratives, and launch collateral.
Partner closely with Sales leadership to identify content gaps, improve messaging consistency, and strengthen go-to-market execution.
Plan and execute end-to-end product and feature launches, coordinating cross-functional readiness across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support teams.
Deliver internal training and launch preparation sessions to ensure teams are equipped with accurate messaging and positioning strategies.
Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through white papers, campaign messaging, executive presentations, speaking abstracts, and industry-focused content.
Support broader marketing initiatives by providing messaging guidance for campaigns, websites, press releases, and partner communications.
Apply AI tools strategically to accelerate research, competitive analysis, workflow optimization, and high-quality content development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent business and marketing experience is considered a plus.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in B2B product marketing within software, technology, data, or SaaS-focused organizations.
Experience in environmental monitoring, weather technology, geospatial solutions, or related technical industries strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in building positioning frameworks, messaging strategies, and competitive differentiation programs that support complex sales cycles.
Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging market research, win/loss analysis, customer insights, and usage metrics to guide strategic decisions.
Demonstrated success creating sales enablement resources that drive adoption and improve sales effectiveness.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across executive presentations, customer-facing content, strategic briefs, and long-form thought leadership materials.
Practical hands-on experience using AI tools for research, competitive analysis, content generation, and workflow automation.
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in fast-paced and evolving business environments.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship requirements.
