What you'll do
Accountabilities:
Define and execute the global marketing strategy for the microbiology portfolio based on clinical workflows, customer needs, and competitive market insights.
Lead global product launch planning and execution across assays, instruments, software, and services, including positioning, messaging, pricing support, and regional rollout coordination.
Drive global market segmentation and customer targeting strategies to support lead generation, pipeline growth, and commercial conversion.
Strengthen global brand awareness through congress leadership, trade shows, and scientific storytelling across infectious disease and laboratory medicine communities.
Translate complex market and customer insights into compelling campaigns and integrated marketing programs that support business growth objectives.
Manage and develop a Global Product Marketing Manager, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback to support team success.
Partner cross-functionally with regional marketing, product, sales, and medical teams to ensure alignment and execution of global initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or Master’s with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
Extensive experience in the in vitro diagnostics, life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution with measurable business impact.
Strong understanding of clinical microbiology, laboratory medicine workflows, and diagnostic customer environments.
Demonstrated experience in product marketing, product management, or commercialization within technical/scientific markets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders across global organizations.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
Experience leading or mentoring high-performing teams is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally.
