Job Title:

Product Marketing Manager

Location:

Irvine, CA

Company:

Eterna Insurance Solutions

About Us

Eterna is a rapidly scaling, privately funded tech startup reinventing how life and health insurance is bought and sold. Our founding team — ex-Facebook engineers and the leader of one of the nation’s largest sales organizations — built a platform that powers hundreds of insurance agents with real-time tools, automation, and insights. We move fast, solve complex problems, and bring a tech-first culture to an industry in dire need of modernization.

Position Overview

This role sits at the intersection of product, operations, and agent experience. You will own how Eterna communicates changes to our platform, programs, and business operations to our agent base — ensuring every update is clear, actionable, and aligned with how agents actually work.

As Eterna continues to scale, we are constantly shipping new features, refining workflows, and improving our systems. This role is responsible for translating those changes into structured, high-quality communications, training materials, and rollout strategies that drive adoption and minimize confusion.

You will work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to deeply understand what is changing and why — and then turn that into concise, effective messaging across multiple channels (agent portal, email, SMS, training, and documentation). This includes everything from product launches and process updates to critical operational changes that impact agent workflows.

This is not traditional marketing — it is a highly operational, execution-focused role that requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to simplify complex systems into clear guidance for a large, distributed salesforce.

The ideal candidate is both structured and pragmatic: someone who can bring order to fast-moving environments, anticipate agent questions before they arise, and ensure that Eterna’s communication is consistent, timely, and trusted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of agent communication for all product, platform, and operational changes to drive measurable adoption
  • Translate ambiguous product specs and evolving operational decisions into definitive, execution-ready guidance for frontline teams
  • Embed with engineering and operations during build cycles to anticipate impact, pressure-test workflows, and influence how features are designed for agent usage
  • Work closes with the frontline sales team to design and execute rollout strategies across a large, distributed agent base
  • Produce high-signal enablement content that agents can immediately apply in live selling environments
  • Establish tight feedback loops with top agents and team leaders to quickly surface breakdowns in workflows, messaging gaps, or product friction
  • Build, refine, and own the Eterna Agent Knowledge base as a source of truth for agent related guides, processes, etc.

Ownership

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related technical or quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency with SQL or Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A self-starter mindset with curiosity and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Why Join Us?

  • You’ll have real ownership — no layers of bureaucracy slowing you down.
  • Work directly with executives and senior engineers on high-impact initiatives.
  • Be part of a startup that moves fast and values accountability and results.
  • Competitive pay, strong benefits, and career growth opportunities as we scale.
