Job Description
The Senior Manager as a part of Marketing Services team will be responsible for strategic planning, finding opportunities, designing programs and execution of Visa marketing activities with partners and clients .
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, optimizing pricing strategies, and ensuring marketing initiatives deliver measurable commercial impact.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans designed to meet client expectations, run co-branded marketing campaigns with clients by providing insight driven, data focused and actionable recommendations and end-to-end marketing solutions for relevant products and services across the card lifecycle and beyond
- Design and execute long-term bespoken marketing programs for the clients, based on vast expertise in payments and a rich depth of marketing knowledge to scale clients’ business and accelerate business growth, and demonstrating clear RoI and commercial value.
- Deliver marketing insights & data capabilities to drive deep partnerships with clients including research, studies and best practice benchmarking through the Visa marketing community
- Position Visa as marketing expert with clients sharing in-depth understanding and analysis of payments industry, consumer trends and competition
- Pro-actively engage in client pitches.
- Identify opportunities in the market through tracking of key payment trends, cardholder behaviour, and evaluate them to create strategic recommendations for future business propositions
- Align Visa Product, Marketing and Sales objectives and resources against client business needs, partner with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) and Solutions to ensure bundled approach in selling services to client to better meet client objectives
- Review implementation of plans on an ongoing basis and provide guidance to external and internal stakeholders to ensure that KPIs are achieved
- Communicate Visa led campaigns as requested with the clients, use local and global sponsorship opportunities and Visa partnerships with the key relevant players in the market to drive client business with Visa.
- Manage budget, forecasts, production and campaign tracking in collaboration with Clients and third-party suppliers.
- Provide quantitative post campaign and regular performance analysis in due time and incorporate learnings into future projects.
- Manage the relationship with agencies and partners to ensure top level execution.
- Manage the admin work and processes related to client contracting
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Proven track record of commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, and delivering profitable growth.
Experience in a role related to partnership marketing programs and activities.
Experience working in or with the bank, knowledge of payments systems and cards industry is an advantage. Good knowledge of key P&L drivers and leveraging the relevant aspects to build effective business cases.
Master’s degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation
Strategic and creative thinker with a track record of delivery and ability to manage several projects concurrently and see them through from conception to conclusion
Demonstrated track record in the management of external clients, agencies and the development of through the line campaign materials.
Client relationship and management skills as well as experience managing high level leadership stakeholders.
Brilliant negotiator, diplomatic, able to persuade with strong, data-driven argumentation, sales exposure
Strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy
Strong team player, able to work on multitask projects and in multi-functional teams
Comfortable working in a fast paced, hands on, growth orientated work environment, must be adaptive to change
Strong personal motivation and commitment, naturally optimistic
Must be proactive and demonstrate initiative, responsive and sociable
Multicultural sensitivity and a commitment to drive inclusive culture
Fluent French and English
Candidate must be open to travel as relevant within Visa safety and security policies.
