The Challenge

Veeva Systems is a $3B+ revenue SaaS leader transforming life sciences with a public benefit corporation model. You'll own field marketing strategy and execution across France and Benelux, driving demand and customer retention for their Commercial Solutions with a high-performing, fast-moving team.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Develop comprehensive field marketing strategy and annual plan for France & Benelux markets with defined goals, KPIs, and budget allocation

2

Map key stakeholders (Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success) and establish cadence for cross-functional collaboration and feedback loops

3

Launch first integrated demand generation campaign leveraging email (Marketo), digital advertising, and sales enablement to establish baseline metrics

4

Plan and execute 2-3 regional in-person or virtual events, measuring attendance, engagement, and pipeline contribution

By 6 Months
1

Scale Account Based Marketing program targeting 10-15 key accounts with personalized campaigns tracking deal velocity and win rates

Optimize marketing spend across channels, demonstrating 15-20% improvement in cost-per-qualified-lead or similar efficiency metric

Build content library for customer education and retention campaigns, measuring engagement rates and customer health score impact

4

Lead logistics and execution planning for annual Veeva Summit, coordinating customer communities, internal comms, and post-event reporting

Pipeline Generated

Total qualified pipeline dollars sourced from field marketing campaigns tracked through CRM monthly.

Cost Per Qualified Lead

Total field marketing spend divided by qualified leads generated, optimized quarterly against targets.

Event ROI

Revenue influenced from in-person and virtual events compared to total event spend including vendor costs.

Campaign Conversion Rate

Percentage of campaign recipients who convert to marketing qualified leads, tracked by campaign type and channel.

Sales Engagement Rate

Percentage of sales-enabled content and campaigns actioned by field sales team within 48 hours of delivery.

  • You're fluent in French at native level with strong English – this role requires regional market nuance and stakeholder communication

  • You want to grow in a high-performing SaaS organization where strategy meets execution at pace
Won't Work If
  • You need full remote or don't want regular on-site presence in Paris – this role requires in-person stakeholder alignment and event execution
  • You're uncomfortable with ambiguity in early-stage region building – you'll need to define strategy and plans, not just execute playbooks
  • You lack hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, and digital advertising tools – this is hands-on, not just strategic

15-20 min call covering background, language proficiency (French/English), and field marketing experience in B2B SaaS

Hiring Manager Conversation

30-45 min with direct manager covering strategy thinking, stakeholder management, and specific campaign examples with metrics

1-2 hours with Sales, Product Marketing, and/or Customer Success stakeholders to assess collaboration and go-to-market alignment
