The Challenge
tm:rw is reimagining retail as a destination for innovation and immersive experiences across tech, gaming, and e-mobility. You'll build the brand identity and growth engine that positions them as the cultural epicenter of experiential retail-starting from their NYC flagship and scaling across the Tri-State area and beyond.
Your Mission
Establish brand positioning framework and visual identity standards across all touchpoints (digital, in-store, PR)
Audit current marketing stack and define KPI dashboard (foot traffic, conversion rate, brand awareness lift, social engagement)
Launch first flagship campaign with creator/brand collaboration to drive awareness and physical space traffic
Build and align marketing team structure reporting to you; identify gaps and hiring needs
Execute 3+ integrated campaigns across TikTok, social, PR, and in-store experiences tied to measurable foot traffic and conversion goals
Expand brand awareness beyond NYC to Tri-State region through geo-targeted campaigns and local partnerships
Establish community engagement programs and creator partnerships that drive organic word-of-mouth and repeat visits
Hit brand KPI targets: +X% foot traffic growth, +Y% customer acquisition, +Z% social followers/engagement

Foot Traffic & In-Store Conversion
Weekly/monthly visitors to physical space and conversion rate from visitor to paying customer.
Brand Awareness & Recall
Quarterly tracking of aided/unaided awareness, brand sentiment, and perception vs. competitors in key markets.
Social Engagement & Reach
TikTok and emerging platform follower growth, video views, engagement rate, and share-of-voice in innovation/retail conversations.
Campaign ROI & Attribution
Revenue/foot traffic driven per campaign dollar spent; multi-touch attribution across paid, organic, and experiential channels.
Customer Lifetime Value & Repeat Visit Rate
Percentage of one-time vs. repeat visitors; average spend per visit; NPS and community sentiment.

Is This Role For You?
- You've spent 10+ years building brands in tech, consumer, or retail and have a proven track record of turning awareness into foot traffic and conversion
- You're equally fluent in grassroots TikTok/creator culture and big-picture strategic brand positioning
- You think like a founder: you can move fast, experiment, and measure everything-not just push vanity metrics
- You understand experiential retail and can architect in-store moments that feel authentic, shareable, and commercially driven
- You're excited by the intersection of culture, innovation, and community-not just selling products
- You need a large pre-built team or extensive internal marketing infrastructure-this is a build-from-scratch role requiring scrappiness and hands-on leadership
- You're uncomfortable with direct founder relationships or prefer traditional corporate hierarchy
- Your experience is purely digital/e-commerce without exposure to physical retail, experiential marketing, or driving foot traffic
- You're risk-averse or need everything proven before moving forward-tm:rw will require bold creative bets and rapid experimentation
