The Challenge
TikTok's Scaled Growth team is hunting for a VP to own large indie agency acquisition across North America and Latin America. You'll build a team, hit aggressive pipeline targets, and establish TikTok as the platform partners actually want to work with.
Your Mission
Map and prioritize top 50-100 large indie agencies across NA and LATAM; build initial outreach and relationship strategy
Hire and onboard 3-5 sales leaders to your Agency Acquisition team; define compensation structure and incentive alignment
Execute first wave of agency partnerships (5-10 LOIs) and establish repeatable onboarding playbook
Define and lock in sales targets, pipeline metrics, and leading indicators for your team's success
Close 15-25 agency partnerships generating measurable pipeline and revenue contribution
Build scalable sales processes: discovery, negotiation, enablement, and retention frameworks
Establish yourself as the go-to exec for agency partners; drive 2-3 industry wins or case studies
Hit or exceed first-half sales targets; optimize comp structure based on actual performance data

% of retained partners quarter-over-quarter and expansion revenue from existing partnerships.
Sales Cycle & Conversion Rates
Average days to close, deal size, and conversion rate from outreach to signed agreement.

- You've closed 50+ enterprise or agency partnerships and built sales teams from zero in fast-moving environments
- You're fluent in English + Spanish or Portuguese and comfortable leading cross-cultural negotiations
- You thrive owning messy, ambiguous territory and can navigate complex org structures at large agencies
- You're data-driven, target-obsessed, and can design compensation models that actually motivate your team
- You believe in TikTok's platform and genuinely want to help agencies and small businesses win
- You need a fully remote setup or won't relocate to New York; this is on-site only
- You lack deep agency or digital advertising experience; this isn't a sales crash course
- You speak only English; bilingual capability is non-negotiable for partner relationships
- You're uncomfortable with ambiguity, fast pivots, or operating in a hypergrowth startup environment
