What you'll do

A centralized marketing technology function is responsible for driving the adoption, integration, and ongoing advancement of key marketing systems and tools. The team prioritizes improving effectiveness and delivering tangible business outcomes by optimizing how data and platforms are used, transforming inefficiencies into opportunities for value creation through innovation.

This group brings together deep technical knowledge, strategic systems thinking, and the ability to convert business requirements into scalable, practical solutions. By operating effectively in ambiguous environments, the team builds credibility with stakeholders and supports enterprise-wide transformation. A forward-looking, data-informed mindset guides decision-making, influences organizational direction, and helps the business adapt to evolving technologies while enabling long-term growth.

Role Overview

In this position, you will act as both a technical expert and strategic partner, helping to enhance and scale marketing platforms and automation capabilities. You will oversee the full lifecycle of automation and integration initiatives—from design through implementation and optimization—ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

A key responsibility will include designing and building advanced automated workflows, particularly within content automation platforms. This involves structuring data models, developing SQL-based data sources, and ensuring all outputs are accurate, consistent, and production-ready. You will also serve as a subject-matter expert for platform capabilities, integrations, and APIs, translating business needs into clear technical solutions.

Collaboration is central to the role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (including technology, client-facing teams, investment groups, and marketing) to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive continuous improvement. You will also play a major role in organizational change efforts by supporting adoption, guiding stakeholders through system updates, and ensuring successful implementation outcomes.

Additionally, you will contribute to communication and change strategies—helping both technical and non-technical audiences understand the value of new systems and processes—while identifying and addressing potential risks or resistance.

You’ll often manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring projects stay on track in terms of scope, timeline, and quality. Mentorship is also expected, including helping junior team members develop skills and contributing to reusable frameworks and best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale content automation initiatives, including data modeling, SQL development, and template integration to produce accurate, client-ready outputs
  • Evaluate platform updates and vendor roadmaps, identifying opportunities and translating them into actionable solutions and enhancements
  • Act as a technical expert for platform capabilities, including integrations and API-based solutions (e.g., REST, data queries, reporting tools)
  • Collaborate across teams to gather feedback and continuously improve systems and processes
  • Provide guidance during implementation and post-launch phases, ensuring sustained performance and optimization
  • Support change management efforts through clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and proactive issue resolution
  • Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth adoption
  • Promote a culture of learning, adaptability, and continuous improvement
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining alignment across stakeholders while ensuring delivery quality and timelines
  • Mentor team members and contribute to scalable playbooks and best practices

Experience Requirements

  • Several years of experience working with SaaS platforms, automation, or technology-focused consulting
  • Background in implementing or supporting enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, content, or analytics systems)
  • Experience in solution design, systems integration, or data-related roles
  • Prior involvement in transformation or change initiatives, including driving adoption of new tools or processes
  • Hands-on experience with automation, reporting, or content generation systems

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and foundational database concepts
  • Degree in business, technology, data, or a related field
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, reporting tools, and automation technologies
  • Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum experience is a plus)
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead change across diverse teams
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex environments
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and business intelligence concepts
