Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You're fluent in SQL, data modeling, and automation workflows-you can translate business chaos into clean technical solutions
  • You thrive in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder environments and can influence without direct authority
  • You're equally comfortable mentoring junior engineers and presenting to C-level stakeholders
  • You want ownership of a core platform function with real business impact, not just individual contributor work
Won't Work If
  • You prefer heads-down coding over stakeholder management and organizational change work
  • You need full remote flexibility; this is on-site in NYC
  • You're not comfortable with emerging tech (AI-driven capabilities) or evolving tech stacks

Interview Process

1

Initial Screening

Phone call on marketing tech stack, SQL proficiency, and automation experience

2

Technical Assessment

SQL challenge or workflow design case study; assess data modeling and platform thinking

3

Stakeholder Panel

Conversation with marketing ops, tech lead, and potentially a junior team member about collaboration style

4

Leadership Conversation

Final interview on platform strategy, change management approach, and long-term vision
