The Challenge
Inland Real Estate Group is building out enterprise-wide digital marketing from the ground up. You'll own the vision and execution of content strategy across a diverse portfolio of real estate and finance entities, leading a team and directly reporting to the CMO.
Your Mission
Audit and map current digital content across all Inland entities; identify gaps, overlaps, and brand consistency issues
Build and present integrated digital marketing and content strategy roadmap aligned with organizational goals
Establish HubSpot governance framework and create foundational dashboards for content performance tracking and lead generation
Onboard and align internal team and cross-functional stakeholders on new strategy and shared services model
Launch data-driven editorial calendar across 3+ business entities with consistent publishing cadence and audience segmentation
Implement and optimize HubSpot automation workflows; demonstrate measurable lift in lead quality and content engagement
Build content excellence standards (templates, brand guidelines, approval workflows); train team on new processes
Establish quarterly business reviews with entity marketing leaders showing ROI on content investments and digital initiatives

Measure leads sourced through content; track conversion to qualified opportunities by entity.
HubSpot Adoption & Usage
Monitor platform adoption across entities and campaign execution velocity through automation.
Content Production Efficiency
Track pieces published per month, time-to-publish, and team capacity utilization.
Brand Consistency Score
Audit compliance against brand standards and messaging frameworks across all digital touchpoints.

- Real estate or financial services experience is a plus—you understand compliance, long sales cycles, and audience segmentation in regulated verticals
- You need full remote flexibility—this role requires 3+ days on-site in Chicago weekly
- You're a hands-on doer who wants to personally create every piece of content; this is a leadership and strategy role requiring delegation
- You lack measurable proof of digital marketing or content strategy impact (case studies, metrics, portfolios matter here)
