The Challenge

Storyful (News Corp) is the global leader in social media intelligence. You'll drive client growth by blending social data expertise with strategic communications—building Storyful's reputation as the trusted advisor for brands navigating risk, reputation, and market opportunities.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map and qualify 40+ new client prospects in communications/PR decision-maker roles; establish initial outreach cadence

Co-develop 3 data-driven positioning narratives that convert Storyful's Intelligence offering into compelling client stories

3

Embed with existing 5-7 key accounts to identify expansion opportunities and upsell social intelligence use cases

4

Build relationship framework with top-tier PR/comms agencies and consultancies for partnership and referral flow

By 6 Months
1

Close 4-6 new enterprise clients (minimum $100K ACV) through combined prospecting and existing relationship conversion

Create replicable playbook for risk/crisis communications consulting that positions Storyful as category leader

3

Deliver quarterly thought leadership content (reports, webinars, case studies) showcasing sentiment tracking, competitor intel, and market risk insights

4

Build and manage $2M+ pipeline with documented win/loss analysis and repeatable sales motion

New Enterprise Client Acquisition

Close rate and ACV of new logos sourced through prospecting, networking, and relationship conversion.

Pipeline Generation

Number and quality of qualified opportunities created monthly; win rate against target verticals.

Client Expansion Revenue

Upsell and cross-sell revenue from existing accounts leveraging new Storyful Intelligence use cases.

Thought Leadership Impact

Engagement and conversion metrics on positioning content; brand lift in target decision-maker segments.

Sales Cycle Velocity

Average deal duration from prospect to close; time-to-signature by segment and use case.

  • You're energized by building new categories and positioning (social intelligence for comms strategy is still emerging)

  • You lack experience in communications, PR, or risk/crisis strategy—you need to speak this language fluently
